Make sure none of your bulbs are burned out in any of your lamps, turn signals, side light lenses, tail lights, instrument panel lights, etc... A burned-out bulb can affect the system downstream. Check all grounds and possible loose connections.
Unless it is really cold there where you are the truck can still start without the aid of your glow plugs. Did you take them out and bench test them? Did you hook everything back up correctly on the new solenoid?

Like Rick said the hose will come off. The hose is a curved molded hose that is obsolete. Corvette pump 1970-1982 main fuel line flex hose C3 is available as a suitable replacement. Amazon carries it as do other corvette parts dealers.
The last three posts offer you some sound advice. Unless the remaing fuel has an abundance of water I think your problem may be caused by other issues. I would drain the tank as Rick has advised by removing the hose to the lift pump and siponing out the remaining fuel. I would then add 5 gallons...
Even with contaminated fuel, you should get some kind of detonation. Is the engine just cranking or are you getting any sound that the fuel is trying to detonate?
There are lots of options for clear fuel lines not necessarily for diesel. There are diesel-rated clear lines but without some research, I can't at this time steer you in that direction. I think a gas-rated fuel line would be fine just to run it to see if you're getting air in the system and...
