    servicing deuce injectors

Try a couple quarts of Hoppe's benchrest9 gun cleaner. Stuff was made to dissolve carbon.

LDS465 (HD90101AR) and LDT465 (HD90100) hydraulic heads, the real difference.

After having my LDS hydraulic head crack, and since I have some spare bad LDT hydraulic heads laying around, i decided to pull both apart and compare. I've come to the conclusion that the only difference is in fact the plunger itself. I verified that the 90101AR plunger fits the bore in both...

    Jeepsinker?

I do need to try and get back on here more often.

    Jeepsinker?

And my failure to get a run of transmission seal retainers made was kind of embarrassing as well.

    Jeepsinker?

Lots of life changes, not much time for anything like I used to have. Also, got kinda tired of 15 threads a day of " Why won't my deuce start?" Any spare time I have lately has been spent on gun pages on Facebook.

Oil seal mod. for 3053 input shaft

That's cheaper by far than I could have gotten them made for, IF I could have ever gotten things to pan out and gotten more made.

Pics of 700r4 TV bracket installed for refference

Hmmwvs use a similar usable bracket with both the turbo 400 and the 4l80. Got one for mine from a Hmmwv.

Is this a starter solenoid? Clicks but no power to starter.

It uses the same solenoid that the Hmmwv 6.5 starter uses, so you could try and source one that way.

    Disc Brake Engineering Thread

I agree. I've seen the kits for as high as $2500 per axle, and that is just too much for three axles, but $1300 and 850 per each rear isn't too terrible.

    Rockwell pinion bearing help please

Drain it and look for pieces of metal and bearings. If you don't find anything alarming, refill it with fresh gear oil and run it.

    Rockwell pinion bearing help please

No, that won't help. The shims are all that will affect it.

    LDT 465 1C engine noise

    Well, that sucks.

    M35 Door hinge bolts

I have some, but they are the carriage bolt type head, not hex head. They work just the same.

    Operation Mighty Mite Miracle

Actually, I'd like to sell it. Needs more time and money than I have to put into it.

    Operation Mighty Mite Miracle

Well, yours is in a lot better shape than mine. Mine hasn't run, and has been sitting outside for 28 years.

DEUCE:Metal 'clacking' sound in 5th gear high/low only??? Any ideas what it might be?

Mike, your engine came with a brand new clutch and throw out bearing.

Oil seal mod. for 3053 input shaft

Hey guys, been away for a while now. I've been having a lot of life problems these past few months. I apologize to all of you who have been patiently waiting for news on getting some of these manufactured and shipped. This is why I'm glad I didn't collect any money from anyone before getting...

    75 mph in a Deuce

Tom, give it a try. I don't like to run mine over on the governor for a long time, but I do sometimes run it at 2700 for hours on end. Also, and I should've mentioned it long ago, but I found a much easier way to get both the counter shaft and mainshaft installed than using the wire and two...

    Dana 6453 question.

Lockup is only going to drop you a couple hundred rpm vs direct drive non lockup. It is better, but still won't compare to the 3053a with the waterloo kit.
