    Insane home Water/meth injection...

Is the benefit worth the trouble and cost though? I run mine at 15- 18 psi boost every day, even towing, and I haven't had an issue. No, I don't have a pyro either. And I don't need to be scolded about it. If I melt it down, I'll fix it. Although, if it was going to melt, it would've done so...

Brand new 3053, brand new Waterloo kit, started popping out of 5th

Honestly, I didn't even have to take anything apart. I remember pulling on the shifter really hard to get it out of 5th the first time I drove it after install, and that had to be when I bent the fork. The fix was simple; when it popped out of 5th the last time, I pushed the clutch in, stuck it...

Brand new 3053, brand new Waterloo kit, started popping out of 5th

I had a shift fork slightly tweaked, that's all. Easy fix.

    Ft Polk pickup available!

Yeah I'm still doing them, as long as what I pick up doesn't take up residence on my property. I can't be keeping items here for extended periods anymore. Erika got tired of looking at so much stuff sitting around the property.

Sending my Deuce to Organizational Maintenance Unit (a.k.a. Jeepsinker)

I suppose I should've posted long ago that the throttle linkage was nice and free when I installed the engine. And I think I may have even installed a new throttle return spring, but I may not have. It's been a while now.

    75 mph in a Deuce

It is kind of interesting that sometimes the truck will run faster at lower rpm, and sometimes it just wont. I guess the clutch could be slipping a bit sometimes, but I've never smelled it if that is the case.

Sending my Deuce to Organizational Maintenance Unit (a.k.a. Jeepsinker)

Had to fire it... I wanted to make sure it ran before I reinstalled everything else around it!

Busy is a relative term. If the rain would just stay away now... I'm shooting for a Thursday pickup.

Qustions about an Niehoff 100/40 amp 14/28 volt Alternator for a M35a2

Yeah, the thread shows actual load testing. This is another one of those famous "under rated" components...

Qustions about an Niehoff 100/40 amp 14/28 volt Alternator for a M35a2

Rusty, the Prestolite on our trucks are actually 100 amp alts. This has been verified, not just hearsay.

    How to repack wheel bearings?

I pack my hubs full, and they run at ambient temp. Most of the time they even feel cool/ lukewarm to the touch. My infrared temp gun reads them all around 80 degrees after hours on the road.

    XM-778 2 1/2 ton Cargo Truck, W/W

Do either of them still have any of the pumping gear left? I could use a pair of pump compartment doors too. Mine are trashed.

Qustions about an Niehoff 100/40 amp 14/28 volt Alternator for a M35a2

I'd like to do this as well. Dual alternator kits are cool, but the niehoff would be a cleaner install and leave more room to work on that side. Of course, with dual alts, you get 100 amps on both voltages.

    Deuce as daily driver?

You should allow the turbo to cool before shutdown on any turbocharged engine honestly, but some, mainly newer diesels will take more abuse before they fail.

    Off-roading the HEMTT

You could also add a small harbor freight winch and weld a tab onto the crane to cinch it down tight when not in use. That would be ideal in concert with your rubber bumpers.

    M809 starters (PRESTOLITE MODEL MFY6101AUT vs A-A-59294-1)

Yes, they are interchangeable. There are several different starters that fit this application, as well as many of the other larger M series trucks.

    Deuce as daily driver?

Hydraulic head is $300-$400, injectors are $25-$45 each for rebuild, or $50-$90 each to replace. Fuel filters, depending on how well you thin, settle, and filter your oil will last anywhere from 200- 2000 miles normally. On clean fuel, and with a clean system, they last 6000-10,000 miles, at...
