    Roadside lug nut tool options...

The kit came with 32mm and 33mm sockets. Any input on what works best for a breaker bar? Do you prefer sliding T-handle, or flex head? For this much torque, I'm assuming that I'm gonna need a cheater bar too...

What size screw pin shackles for front bumper?

The 21-ton shackles showed up today. The through bolt pin is much less than 1.5", and fits quite loosely in the hole. Now I gotta figure out what to paint them with...

Do lay people refer to your MTVR as a "Deuce and a half"?

The MTVR could carry two Deuces in the bed, and still have several tons of payload capacity left over...

Do lay people refer to your MTVR as a "Deuce and a half"?

...or like how I used to pull into a gas station (quite often) to refuel one of my Suburban mud trucks, and upon seeing the 44" Interco Super Swamper TSL (Three Stage Lug) tires and 20" of lift, some meth-addled booger-eater would undoubtedly approach me to exclaim that they "used to own one...

Do lay people refer to your MTVR as a "Deuce and a half"?

Pretty much like every time I pull into a gas station in my custom-ordered Porsche convertible, someone approaches me to tell me that they used to own one just like it- except that it was a 1983 Pontiac Fiero...

Do lay people refer to your MTVR as a "Deuce and a half"?

Just like they refer to my MV Agusta F3 800, hand-built in northern Italy, as a "Ninja", and refer to every cruiser is a "Harley", even if it's a Honda Rebel 250...

I've also got a long list of cab components with an exploded diagram, for the Pierce Hawk Extreme. Pierce is a division of Oshkosh, and sells rebadged Oshkosh vehicles to civilian fire departments. The "Hawk Extreme" is a rebadged MTVR. Let me know if you guys want it...

    Does CARC fade?

There's a story behind that T-shirt, that I will now make unnecessarily long: My wife and I have done several major marriage team-building type life projects in recent years. I will warn you in advance, do not show these stories to your wives. For the first project, I let my wife custom-order...

Did my MTVR belong to Ninjas?

That's about what I figured. So my USMC serial number is the "598375", and my UIC is the "M20975", right?

Did my MTVR belong to Ninjas?

Do you have pictures of my truck? The identification number stenciled on the tailgate and the sides of the nose are "598375".

Did my MTVR belong to Ninjas?

I figure they were probably using it for beer runs and towing drift trikes around Camp Legune.

Securing your MTVR? anyone installing locks? ignition keys?

I have more experience with electrolysis than I have with galvanic corrosion. Will the tank be okay with this cap as long as I stay out of the ocean, or is this going to be a problem?
