I picked up a 2.5-pound 5:BC vehicle fire extinguisher with mounting bracket for less than 20 bucks. It is DOT-approved, and has a 2020 date on it.
And I'll keep the larger ABC fire extinguisher under the passenger seat to back this one up.
So it looks like the 623 bulb crosses to the 303 (which is what I found in another lamp), the 303X, 304, and the 1251.
Hopefully I'll be able to round one up tomorrow morning at the local auto parts store...
Just a plain old incandescent bulb to get the last light up and running would be fine for now.
Converting to LED lighting is way down on my list of things to do...
I'm pretty stoked to have three 3-point inertia-reel seatbelts in my MTVR- one for me, one for my wife, and one for the dog, who has a vehicle harness...
The $20 locking fuel cap works.
Sloan part number 431006. Free shipping.
And unlike the other locking fuel cap part number floating around somewhere, this one is unvented, so you don't need to swap gas caps when fording water.
The ebay seller ("vinrei_30") told me he had more of them to sell...

Can these things be serviced, or should I just replace it? I think I saw a thread somewhere about a member taking it apart and reversing the O-ring seals in one...
Oshkosh Defense said that's the wrong part.
The ones that I ordered come with keys.
I don't know if they're going to come keyed the same, but if it's like any other vehicle door lock cylinder I've dealt with in the last 40 years, any locksmith should be able to recode one to work with the...
This seatbelt thing is a lot like people who refuse to wear proper safety gear on a motorcycle- a lot of the ones that refuse wear it lose their lives, and so they aren't around to admit that they should have worn it.
They gave me a small discount, so I went ahead and just ordered them. Including shipping, it's going to be roughly $400 or so for the pair.
My next update on this may not be soon- this particular vendor was willing to sell to me as a private individual, but because the parts are coming from...
