The Once And For All On Batteries...

I was watching the 4 New Batteries I just put in. Found that one 12 volt was dropping and not the other? It was not tied into the other 12 v. Charged all 4 at 24 volts they did not charge equal for me. To get them all floated even I had to do one at a time at 12v. The 12 v part is going down...

Glad I read more on this post. I am ready to tryout 2 battery's for my 95 1078-A0 even tho I have 4 installed. Run 2 and have the other 2 for back up. Don't run mine much right now and checking them gives me something to do. It starts so easy 2 should do it no problem. There Group 27s and I just...

Cracked a TH400 case and support brackets with a NP205

My 79 Chevy 1 ton with a 454 uses the side mount off the NP205 bolting into the frame with rubber pads and no rod. It also has the cross member under the adapter between the transmission and transfer case. Owned the truck 13+ years and no cracks. I rebuilt the TH400 myself and installed it. So...

It is a Harbor Freight one. Might buy one for this truck and make a mount to fit the holes in the bed.

    Annual Maintenance Costs of LMTV

I seem to get chains longer then needed when bought and just trim the ends? I don't like tails of loose chain to catch stuff. They were sized for grader tires and 395/85 20's. Made in China I guess? I got a discount cause the cheaper ones were gone. $400.00 off on the 4 of them.

Least I have a dry area to paint and repair parts to it. I assembled it outside it did not fit in the Tent!! Had to build the Bed in...

My truck has impressed me on how fast it starts! I mean I bump the starter and it takes off. No need to turn over more then once it seems to start. Nothing else I own starts that easy and not complaining either!! I believe the 2400 miles on the speedometer no wear in to many places. Had a brake...

    In-Line Coolant Heater Location?

Last test ran the 1,000 watt block heater for only 1 hour and it started OK sorta but smoked some and missed a little. Not even like when I did not use it! It is 23 degrees and been that way all night. 1 1/2 hours to 2 hours would be better and I know 2 hours is more then enough for a clean nice...
