    Refreshing Gunny the thread.

My seals on all the windows are shot. I like the brush seal idea I may use that.

    Refreshing Gunny the thread.

Patched up the cracked tailgate sides to the best of my ability. Don't give me to much grief about the welds all I've got is a cheap Flux core welder. It really can't go low enough to weld thin metal but I did my best.

    My new project (M1009)

I have to agree with @cucvrus that looks like normal 6.2 vibration. At idle these things sound and feel like they would shake apart.

    Grease fitting size?

The grease zerks can sometimes be a pain to get to. A grease gun adapter kit like this makes things go smoother in all your greasing adventures. Astro 9430 Grease Fitting Adapter Set https://a.co/d/4LGMlSL

    CUCVRUS Repair Projects

Not enough time in the day. I feel like there needs to be three of me at times. My wife probably wouldn't like that though lol.

Engine has always been strong. The odometer got reset when I was doing some Dash work but it said 44,595 miles when I got it. I just need to replace that old harmonic balancer and the engine should be pretty cherry.

I just realized I've never put a video on here. Do I just upload to a popular video platform then share the link?

I plan to once I get some more diesel in. It was running real ruff last night because of the air still in the system. I will post one this afternoon though. I can't wait till I get the Trans and transfer case back in. That will be an exciting video for me. First time moving under it's own power...

    Refreshing Gunny the thread.

Got the fuel tank put back in today. Only had a couple gallons of fresh diesel on hand which didn't make the fuel gauge move. Got to grab another can of diesel tomorrow. Nice to have it running again after a couple months of the tank being out.

    M1009 Carpet/Flooring Ideas

Either that or someone brushed in rubber undercoating. (Badly) I agree it needs to be scraped out though.

Got one of the smaller but important things handled today. Replaced the steel brake line across the rear axle. Also replaced the rubber line while I was back there.

    M1009 Carpet/Flooring Ideas

The CUCV line never had carpets. If you do go that route though. I suggest https://www.accmats.com/commerce/1984/Chevrolet/K5 Blazer/Flooring/1914/ This place is local to me made in Anniston Alabama and by what I've seen its quality stuff. Plus the have about 13 different colors to choose from...

    Refreshing Gunny the thread.

Seems like it's taken weeks but I finally have all the body mounts replaced. It's not that it was that hard of a job. It was a pain but I took my time and had some sickness and a tooth pulled during the process. It's finally done though and I did not have to cut open the floors which was my...
