    M38A1 Restoration

That's what I thought. But the diameter on the cone is the same as the cup. It wouldn't go in the cup, it just sat on top of it. That's why I think it was off of another vehicle and was tossed in when I bought the jeep in parts.

    M29/M29C. Worth the time?

I saw that TNJ has a few parts for the Weasel, others on here probably have some good sources for parts. Personally I'd jump on the deal. You will have two of them, so worse case scenario you should be able to build at least one. But then again I am sorta a MV hoarder so my opinion might be...

    S-280 camper build

Ty, are you gonna try and replace the skids on the shelter? I was looking online and found that AAR Corp says they are "easily replaceable" LOL Having some like the originals would be nice since they are suppose to absorb some shock to the container.

M1028 A1 Contact Truck with M887 contact body and Wisconsin Generator

Well a fuel pump and carb rebuild later, the old Wisconsin sputtered to life. It's obvious she hasn't run in a while, my shop was filled with nice black smoke until she smoothed out. So far the body 110, panel 110, and air compressor all work. Still got a some more small stuff to check and...

I saw that in the instruction manual. I was thinking about doing that, but I haven't really decided yet.

Welcome from Tennessee. Fair warning, you are about to be fully infected with the MV virus. The more you scratch, the more land your gonna need for parking. LOL

    M38A1 Restoration

I left it off, it didn't fit with the replacement mount. If I would have used it, it would have been a metal to metal mount since the rubber wasn't tall enough to separate it from the frame.

    Our NEWEST project: M1010 Ambulance

Awesome work Madmedic, I'm definitely keeping this thread close by for a reference. I just picked up a M1010 the other day. It is nasty looking, sat under a tree for the last 5-8 years, but it is restoreable. Can't wait to see more progress on yours!

    Hmmwv vs rat rod titling

The difference is that when you buy the HMMWV, you sign a paper stating that it is for off road use only.

I've got it somewhere, I'll have to find the data plate. Would that affect the mount?

    Roadside safety: Stay Alive!

ODFever, that reminds me of our winter snow here this year. The roads were ice with a lil snow and I saw a girl walking down the turn lane (5 lane highway) texting the whole time. She never once looked to see what cars were coming or going. I was just amazed at the stupidity, all it would...

    Another not starting post.

I believe there should be more then a drip, but honestly I haven't had to crack on a 6.2 yet. Hopefully someone who has done it can chime in shortly.

Okay so it is a fuel issue. Did you crack the lines at the injectors? That will tell you if your getting fuel to the injectors. If nothing there, pull the line off the filter that runs to the injector pump and crank it to see if fuel is coming out. The line runs under the manifold to the...
