Anyone know where I can find the lower radiator mount bushings for a m51a1 multifuel? All I can find is the top rubber mount.
Also where the injector lines screw into the top of the hh, is it just a flared compression fitting or is the an oring? Notice mine seems to be leaking from there
First photo you can see the fitting on the side of the reservoir. Not sure what goes to it. Then the hose pictured in the second photo comes from the power steering pump. If you zoom in on the first photo it's the lower connection underneath the top visible one. I have more pics but my phone...
The drivers side fender was off my truck when I bought it. Was putting it back on today and there is a couple things I can't figure out. There is a hose coming off the p.s pump that has a quick connect on it. Not sure where it goes. And there is one on the engine/radiator side of the reservoir...
I might of worded it wrong but the ip mark under the 4 bolt window was off by a tooth or so. I reset the timing yesterday so it lines up but am still having starting issues
Is the hh gear with the red tooth on a 1:1 ratio with the index mark on the ip. Or is it 2:1? I'm not sure I saw it. Anyone know the diameter of the plastic flame heater lines so I can grab a plug while I'm in town tonight. Trucks at my shop 10 miles away.
When I bought my truck the owner said he replaced the ip with a rebuilt unit because the original was leaking fuel. After replacement he could barely get it to run if giving it a hit of ether. He thought it was getting air in the lines. I checked the timing, #1 cylinder valves are both loose and...
I guess my main question, with the ip being off by a half to full tooth will it cause an extreme hard start condition. I'm going down to work on it Monday but it's got me wondering this weekend.
I've been tinkering with my multifuel dumptruck when I have spare time, which is never. Changed the fuel filters, still need to dump the tank and refill with fresh diesel. The previous owner said he replaced the ip because it was leaking diesel and couldn't get it to start easily afterwards. I...
Just received my filter kit for my multi fuel from BigMikes. What oil do you guys suggest? Looks like it's straight 30wt. Seems like my other diesels always seemed to prefer one kind or another. Also just regular green antifreeze?
