Do you have the 100, 200 or 400 amp?
I believe the only one that will fit the multifuel is the 100. I know for a fact the 400 will not: http://www.steelsoldiers.com/showthread.php?104921-Dual-Voltage-Gen-in-Deuce&p=1363367&viewfull=1#post1363367

We had a great time today. Much thanks to everyone who put the effort into planning this and much thanks to everyone for showing up. We had a nice time, it was nice to not be working on a Saturday for once.
Did anyone take any pictures? We didn't take any.
Got the truck pre-flighted and loaded today.
Have a cargo cover kit and a marker light for a couple folks. If anyone is looking for any of the stuff that we (clinto / clintogf) have for sale, we can bring it with us or you can follow us back to the house (about 20 miles) and we'll have a flea...
According to that manual, the dual circuit trucks do break the brakes up into front/rear split.
I tried tracing the lines on the image contained in the SMARPI supplement but I'll be darned if I can tell (I would have broken that into 2 separate images, one for hydraulic and one for air if I...
I believe there is a military MWO that installs an air shift switch in the dash, similar to a deuce. It cuts the air to the transmission air solenoids and this more or less puts the transfer in neutral. I think I'm describing this correctly.
A search in the 5 ton section for something like...
Welcome to the site. We can help you find what you need.
1. We try to use the word "help" only in thread titles where someone is stranded on the side of the road. I'll edit your title for you in a minute.
2. The "testing forums" section of the site is for trying out issues with the site...
What is the Tacoma connection? I'm confused. Have you installed a take-out brake system from a Toyota on your deuce? Is your deuce named Tacoma? Are you in Tacoma, Texas?
Although most of the stuff at Harbor Freight is crap, I have to say, their cheapy HVLP guns are awesome. I've painted all sorts of stuff with them, including a 3-stage pearl (base, clear, pearl) on a friends car who was in an accident and couldn't afford the $1500 the shop wanted to do the...
Is there room to back a deuce up with a long car trailer and turn around in that lot? To me it looks like if you drive down into the PTLBBQ end head first, you'll basically have to back all the way up to exit the parking lot.
The blocks are to make it easier to install the pressure plate. When the pressure plate is not bolted on, the fingers are at their maximum height and the pressure plate disc is "closer" to the flywheel relative to the pressure plate mounting flange.
When you're tightening the bolts down...
1. I don't know for sure but I suspect the hard top was part of the original design criteria-I've seen plenty of pictures of very early gassers that have hard tops. I know any truck with an arctic kit has a hardtop and the arctic kit was something they'd already conceived of by the...
I always pull the jack shaft.
You can remove and install with the PTO but it's much more challenging.
I've done them with overhead gantry cranes, a lift on the back of a tractor, engine hoist and the correct GI hoist.
The biggest benefit to leaving the PTO on is that you can actually get a...
