Welcome from Northern Ohio! Nice looking truck. What do they check for when you take it to emissions? Not exactly the cleanest exhaust coming out of our trucks.
Must be tougher emissions standards where you're at.
Finally got to run my truck with the new gauges.
Turbo boost was up to 5 psi. And the egt was up to 850 degrees F at full throttle up hill in 4th gear.
First pic is the exhaust manifold where I drilled and tapped for the thermocouples. I removed the turbocharger to do the drilling. So no drill filings would destroy the turbo.
I also resealed the exhaust. The last pic is part of the flame heater that squirts fuel in the intake for the flame...
Finished adding a egt gauge and boost gauge with thermocouples. Fabricated a gauge pod to go on the steering column.
I went to give the truck a run and my flame heater started to leak fuel. So it got bypassed. No more fuel leak!
I ordered the dual pyro gauge and boost gauge thermocouples and lead wires with shipping was just under $320 from Hewitt Ind.. I wanted a dual pyro to get both sides of the manifold, (I know, just my preference). I'll install them, then do a FDC bypass.
Rebuild old Regulator?

Just wondering if anyone has tried this or sent it to be rebuilt.
The data plates were swapped for some unknown reason.
I had contacted the DMV by me, and they told me its just a matter of having the incorrect title. And that I should go ahead and get the correct title for the correct truck, and that they would waive the taxes.
Update to Incorrect V.I.N.
UPDATE:
I talked to the man at the equipment dealership, he is selling it for the current owner (friend of his). The current owner is also the previous owner of my truck. We looked at numbers of both trucks and the frame number on his truck matches the cab data plate...
Hi All,
A few years back, I bought my Deuce from a private owner. He said he won 2 trucks in an auction and needed to get rid of one (mine). When I went to process the title, I used the I.D. number off the dash plaque in the cab. In trying to uncover a little history on the truck, I came...
