They are different but I bought blazer panels not truck panels and they still were hard to use. The trucks have a riser for the seat that goes to all the way back. You can use a truck front floor panel in a blazer but you have to cut out part that starts the up sweep for the seat riser.
That is a good price. The pressure switch is for diagnostic use only. You can go without it unless you want to keep it "stock" or plan to use a STE ICE to work on it.
The block does not have a drain but there is one on the radiator at the bottom. I can't remember is if it is the driver's side or passenger's side but it will be on the engine side of the radiator near the bottom but not on the bottom. This will drain the block enough to install a heater. Are...
He is looking for a key activated source hot in both acc and run. I looked and could not find a fuse block diagram with labels. I would do what Kenny said. If you can't find a spade terminal that works in acc and run then tap one of the fuses that will give you what you want. If I remember...
The quick fix is what you say to yourself and your wife. In reality the projects starts when you take possession. The quick fix is selling it to the other guy.
I have gotten a lot of stuff from LMC but I will not get weld in panels from them again. I would get bolt on panels though. I think people have had good luck with Goodrich panels.
Looking at the schematic posted I am wrong. The top longer terminal strip is 24 volt and the one at the bottom is just a negative terminal post. The suppressor must be a weird capacitor.
I just looked at your attachment. Those are 24 volt terminal strips on the firewall. They are not suppressors and what you have circled does not go on the alt. It looks like a fusible link from one strip to the other. If this is what burned out it may be that the starter connects to this block...
I am a little fuzzy on exactly what you are doing. You mentioned you replaced the relay with a circuit breaker. They do not do the same thing or even close. If you replace a relay with a circuit breaker the line will be on all the time. Your starter would run the minute you connected the...
I finished the welding on the floor and started cleaning the welds. They cleaned up real well. I may not have to do much except a thick layer of bondo. It may end up presentable with no herculiner or floor mat. No pics. I hope to get the grinding from the top done tomorrow. I then need to grind...
The weekend on Saturday I was taking my son to a school activity in Livonia Michigan. On the way there were several accidents. On one overpass the hard pack ice snow had created an almost perfect 45 degree ramp. I could see marks where a vehicle hit the bridge wall hard and was about 4 inches...
I just called and the local Tractor Supply does carry shielding gas for exchange and it is about $14 cheaper then where I was getting it. The place I was exchanging is about 1000 feet from TSC. Now I will have no excuse to quit working on Sunday.
I need to get a tank for my tig welder plasma cutter combination so I might just go ahead and get it willed with 75/25 for right now then get 100 argon when I am done with the project. I was going to get a larger tank but they want $225 deposit and for that I could get another 40 tank and get it...
