    Air Conditioning a Deuce

OK, I am back. I have spent the last several weeks recuperating from surgery and am ready to finish up the a/c on the deuce. I did not have to work outside in the heat, humidity, and rain the last several weeks, and I am glad I got all the heavy work done before the surgery. This past week end I...

    On the way to Bobs

Looking forward to seeing the finished project. Lookin' good! I installed the drier and condenser fan this week end, and got the A/C/ hoses fabricated and installed today. I will vacuum it down tomorrow, check for leaks, and finish the wiring. Almost there! I will post pics shortly.

    On the way to Bobs

Looking forward to seeing the progress as well as the finished product at the Ga Rally. Hope to have the A/C finshed by month's end. Lost 8 weeks with the operation., but at least that was the hottest part of the year and would have made working on it and driving it miserable.

    Getting some winch parts

Pto SSG, Be careful! It's a heavy part. 2cents. There are 6 nuts. There is a nut on the top of the PTO; it is a bit tricky to get to.

I need help removing my axle seal

Removing the steering Arm Take the pitman arm off the steering arm. There is a tapered bushing under each stud. Soak the the studs with PB Blaster. It took me about 4 hours of banging, applying heat to the stearing arm around the stubs and more banging. ONLY use a brass hammer, and keep the...

    Combat door locks

Great mod! I have 2 little guys who ride with me and even with seat belts, I still worry about them leaning on the door or accidently hitting the door lever and the door flys open. I mounted a barrel bolt on the door and when extendeded, the barrel is against the door jam. I really do like...

    Air Conditioning a Deuce

I will have to look and see if there is room to install and access the evaporator using the tool box. My concern would be access and sealing the box to prevent dirt and water from getting in. Neat idea if it would work. I sent you a PM.
