What EGT gauge did you get to fit into the air filter hole?

Do you think I really have a need for EGT gauge? You are getting lower temps than before. I agree once boost is set not much reason to have it. EGT is probably more useful than air filter gauge

Can you show me where you mounted your boost and EGT gauges? I looked around and I didn’t see a great location for 2 gauges

I started my Mogman turbo waste gate. I think it’s going to work out good. I need to get a die. I will probably use a nylon locking nut and maybe a wing nut until I get boost adjusted right. This is what I got so far…

You get 5 more pounds of boost and you should be able to feel the difference. So that spring and cap is underneath the cap you ground off?

The wheel is balanced just like the one I took off. The stock wheel just spins on the shaft when it’s loose there is no keyway or nothing. I seen the dimple on the back of the new wheel from being balanced.

I received my Wicked II turbo wheel today and I heated up in the oven for 10 minutes at 200 degrees and I had the pedestal in the freezer overnight. Wheel went on and it was tight. Mine had a paper gasket on the elbow to the housing and rtv from the housing to the pedestal. The exhaust side had nothing.

I have looked thru several TM’s and I can not find the triangle gasket that goes between the elbow and the housing. I have several hours in looking and I got nothing. I did find a diagram on Lynch Hummer for a 2000 h1 but it had a part number S.I.A. Whatever that means. I finally found it!!!

I just did this and I used prestone platinum. Claims it’s better and lasts 15 years. I got the premix that was 60/40 or something weird and I got the straight anti freeze.
