It sucks compared to my M1123. Lol I’m still trying to get my M1165 running. I think I will love the hardtop and ac. Turbo too. I really like the simplicity of my M1123 and it runs perfect
Do you think I really have a need for EGT gauge? You are getting lower temps than before. I agree once boost is set not much reason to have it. EGT is probably more useful than air filter gauge
I started my Mogman turbo waste gate. I think it’s going to work out good. I need to get a die. I will probably use a nylon locking nut and maybe a wing nut until I get boost adjusted right. This is what I got so far…
The wheel is balanced just like the one I took off. The stock wheel just spins on the shaft when it’s loose there is no keyway or nothing. I seen the dimple on the back of the new wheel from being balanced.
The wheel makes the little bitty turbo work more efficiently. I dont want to mess with boost until I get it running and see what’s going on with stock boost before I change it. I was looking at a manual waste gate that I might add after I get it running. I don’t think wheel will make much...
I received my Wicked II turbo wheel today and I heated up in the oven for 10 minutes at 200 degrees and I had the pedestal in the freezer overnight. Wheel went on and it was tight. The new wheel is a lot different than the stock wheel. I assembled everything and put anti seize on everything that...
I have looked thru several TM’s and I can not find the triangle gasket that goes between the elbow and the housing. I have several hours in looking and I got nothing. I did find a diagram on Lynch Hummer for a 2000 h1 but it had a part number S.I.A. Whatever that means.
I finally found it!!!
Take the lower hoses off and look up inside the radiator and see what’s going on inside. I had lots of build up where the lower hose connects to the standpipe. Probably a good time to replace hoses if you haven’t already. I got lots of stuff out of the heater core also. I ran the prestone flush...
It’s really confusing. I feel comfortable with my choice and I flushed everything and ran my leaf blower thru it until the drips stopped. I think I only got 5 gallons in it
I just did this and I used prestone platinum. Claims it’s better and lasts 15 years. I got the premix that was 60/40 or something weird and I got the straight anti freeze.
