The solenoid on your starter may be sticking. Sometimes they will bind up, and that keeps power on the starter motor. Scott

My relay occasionally doesn't work, but I haven't pulled it out of the truck yet. Can you disassemble them? Scott

Here in Texas, demilled grenades are available at most military surplus stores. I have a few, and I'm giving some very serious thought to using one for a shift knob. I like that! Scott

To resurrect an o;d thread....I bought a 27si alternator, using the Lester number listed above. At first glance, I assumed (and you know how THAT goes) that it wired liked every other Delco I've hooked up. Then I noticed the second isolated terminal, near the battery terminal. Then I noticed...
