You should be fine with a rubber line as long as it's secure and not going to be hitting any moving parts. The lines from the fuel filter to the engine are rubber.

I don't know if they went as far to drain the gear lube out or not. I know most the engine's I checked were empty, but the washer fluid reservoirs were full. I'm close by.

The event number was 9603. Sorry I didn't try getting on last night. If you wanted to even try to drive them, be aware, the fluids were drained from each of them.
