I got the tank mounted, hoses connected, and wiring done.
Under the fuel gauge I put the ON-OFF-ON switch that changes between tank sending units and right next to it is the ON-OFF for the secondary fuel tank pump.

I got the rebuilt master cylinder and a short air pack installed tonight and will bleed tomorrow.
I also spent $30 at Advance Auto parts for switches and hoses and $30 at Lowe's for plumbing for the tanks. I got everything plumbed up and ready to go.

There are enough people converting to DOT 3 without their trucks exploding that you can at least admit it can be done properly, so telling people they absolutely must use DOT 5 is not true. Yes, it was designed to use DOT 5 for military purposes. I'm modifying my truck to work for my needs...
I understand the truck was originally supplied with a DOT 5 brake fluid system.
Do you understand that a DOT 5 system can be converted to DOT 3 when the proper steps are followed?
I also am running DOT 3. Whether I plan on it or not, I seem to be doing brake service once a year so why not go with the fluid that is $15 a gallon at Walmart (made in USA too).
