Removing steel just inside of doors

If you remove them, and then drive around without doors, you could be in violation of a state law. I have heard stories, that in PA, it is required that a vehicle has to have something to keep things from rolling out when driving around door-less. My friend claims a cop pulled him over when he...

Would this look Lame?? Your Opinion Please

I might be tempted to pee in it... I think it looks fine, but I'm not one who cares to restore my vehicles to original. I "resto-mod" to make things more useful with upgrades.

I'm always careful when standing up after crawling out from under the deuce, but then I forget I left a cab door open or the tailgate down and stand up right under that. WTF

    Secondary Fuel Tank

I got the tank mounted, hoses connected, and wiring done. Under the fuel gauge I put the ON-OFF-ON switch that changes between tank sending units and right next to it is the ON-OFF for the secondary fuel tank pump. Ironically, after all this work, I still don't have a working sending unit in...

    Secondary Fuel Tank

Thanks for the clarification Jake! Attached are pictures of the plumbing I did to both tanks. The first picture is the secondary tank and the second picture is the main tank on the truck. I couldn't find any pipe fitting at Lowe's to fit the 1/2" flare line coming out of the pump in the...

    Secondary Fuel Tank

I got the rebuilt master cylinder and a short air pack installed tonight and will bleed tomorrow. I also spent $30 at Advance Auto parts for switches and hoses and $30 at Lowe's for plumbing for the tanks. I got everything plumbed up and ready to go. If the brake bleeding goes smooth tomorrow...

A few questions about DOT 5 and what TM I need.

There are enough people converting to DOT 3 without their trucks exploding that you can at least admit it can be done properly, so telling people they absolutely must use DOT 5 is not true. Yes, it was designed to use DOT 5 for military purposes. I'm modifying my truck to work for my needs...

A few questions about DOT 5 and what TM I need.

I understand the truck was originally supplied with a DOT 5 brake fluid system. Do you understand that a DOT 5 system can be converted to DOT 3 when the proper steps are followed?

    Secondary Fuel Tank

I want a smooth look, and as much room in the bed as possible. I'm excited to work on it this weekend! I might even skip going to the bar!

A few questions about DOT 5 and what TM I need.

I also am running DOT 3. Whether I plan on it or not, I seem to be doing brake service once a year so why not go with the fluid that is $15 a gallon at Walmart (made in USA too). With everything apart you're in a perfect position to flush and fill everything, as you should do when switching...

Cost of M35A2 465 Diesel motor oil and filter change??

$596 for a 55 gal drum of Rotella at Sam's Club. That is $10.84 per gallon. Not too shabby but I would hope for more of a discount on that quantity.

    Fuel Delivery Valve Screw

Better stop posting wanted ads in the normal forum or you're going to be banned, and you have to pay to use the classifieds. Try ebay or call Kublos surplus for what you need.
