I kind of did the same and I wasn't happy with how it laid.
The friend that gave me this M36 cover also gave me the front and rear curtains so I'll be good to go.
The piece that is cut off should be 14' x 5' -ish.
I might have them use the rest to make me a top for my CJ5. Military style with just the top and back covered.
If it isn't enough to do that I'll let you know!
I found a boat cover and canvas shop that said they would shorten my M36 extra long cargo cover to fit my M35A2 for only $40! That might go up once they start wrestling with it!
The only thing I found searching was someone thinking they're 14' x 14'.
Can anyone confirm what the length should...
This deuce has had a several private owners and as I dig into it more I find more shortcuts were taken, like a bolt in place of a shear pin, so I can't say what fluid was in the truck's brake system, but I know I saw a lot of different colors and consistencies of fluid and some debris.
I've...
I guess I understand what you're saying if fluid was coming out of the top of the reservoir due to the brakes resisting, but it was not. It was coming out of the boot that covers the master cylinder's piston rod. This means a seal was being bypassed. I'm just not sure how to address this...
The M35A2 is air assisted hydraulic brakes.
Not sure how the spring comments are relevant.
That is not an air hose. It is brake hose sold by the foot by Pegasus Racing.
Installed a remote brake fluid reservoir today and made a pressure bleeder from a weed sprayer.
That old DOT 5 brake fluid that came out was nasty. I used a gallon of DOT 3 today flushing and filling.
I bled the airpack then went to the rears and finally the front. I kept pumping the sprayed...
That is a good looking truck.
I was wondering if you could run singled rears with the wheels dished out and the hubs not flipped. I was wondering if I could do that with my stock NDTs so I could have singled rears and a track width closer to the front axle's. When you flip the hubs and run...
Thanks for the explanation. I will go with the chain operated I think.
Bending over isn't much of a problem for me but I plan on driving this truck fairly often once I do a few more modifications. I won't always be dressed properly to be crawling under the truck, which I do enjoy doing to...
You can hold your hand a few inches away from those lights so I would say no. That area isn't near 200 F.
This post has good water separating info:

Does anyone have any review of these? Do they work well? Can I connect the drain lines of the tanks with a cross-over pipe to just one automatic valve to save on cost?
