Thanks oddshot. Post up those pictures when you can!
And I also got mine from Duda Diesel.
I have the 7" diam bags. Sounds like oddshot is using the 4" diam.
My plan is as such:
Place 55 gal open top drum high up off the ground with 400 micron strainer for initial pour in. Probably 10...
I'm trying to put 3 filter bags from duda diesel on one of the pipe adapters. What tricks are people using? I stacked the 3 bags, 25 micron in the 10, and the 10 in the 5 and then I shoved the adapter into the 5 micron bag. I'm not too happy with how they're sitting on the lip of the pipe...

I got my filter bags and drum strainer from Duda Diesel.
3- 5 micron bags, 3- 10 micron bags, 3- 25 micron bags, pipe fitting adapter for bags, and 55 gal drum strainer with shipping was $63.
Searched a little and wasn't finding the specifics I was looking for.
I have a NOS block heater. Any tips or tricks for installation?
Once plugged in, how long will it take to get the coolant to suitable temperature for starting in worst case scenario PA winter?
Thanks!
What are you using to separate water? I have about 300 gal of unfilitered WMO sitting in my garage right now. I was planning on separating using gravity but I know I won't get it all. I got my sock filters today! Can't wait to get running on this.
Caught some MV's taking off! I was driving my M38A1 / CJ5 in the parade with my M416 in tow but I was rolling with the 1960's. It was really awesome to see that many old military jeeps on one place.

That was a sweet video. I think I'll spare my truck the torture though!
We have to go wheeling soon before the weather gets ugly. We can grab Pat with his 5 ton and hit the trails out by Ligonier! Convoy over the mountain!
Was your truck parked off of 51 not too long ago at a lumber/logging...
I built my first gasifier in the fall of 2010 using the FEMA wood gas generator instructions.
I was burning some pretty green wood chips I got from a tree recycler. I had A LOT of tar and goo coming out the business end which I was not impressed with. If I could build a good filter and get a...
I did the same thing when someone told me about it. It's actually through a 3rd party here: Trailer Registrations for Individuals and Fleets Countrywide - MaineTrailerRegistrations.com
I have Haggerty coverage on my truck and Jeep also. Cheap! They told me my only restriction was I couldn't use my vehicles for reenactments!
I filed for my antique plate for my M35A2 about a week and a half ago with some odd ball NY state paperwork. Hopefully I get that back OK.
