I’d love a “ free donations” or “free give away” or “free” forum. I got parts to give away. We all do. I’d be happy to moderate the forum.
I have a TH400 tranny that works. I swapped it out for my 4-speed. It’s in the way.
I’m in Brooklyn, NYC. It’s free to the first person who takes it.
These parts don’t mix and match. They are alternator specific. If you have a dual voltage alt, odds are you need a N3135 Neihoff regulator. They are pricey. Don’t buy the knockoffs by Wolfer on EBay. Get a real unit.
The P400 has better rods and pistons and knuckles, better lower end reinforcement, better water jackets, and mildly better nickel content. “Thetruckstop” is a website that can explain it better.
I have one of the last ones crated-up airtight, waiting for an engine to blow.
Europe takes their automotive laws seriously. By all means, sell your stuff. Just don’t misrepresent it. Europeans can get in serious trouble. Motor laws and enforcement there are…. different.
If he says it’s illegal, then you need to respect that.
My question was posted years ago. I went with a rebuilt and strengthened 700R4. I had it rebuilt 765R4 by Bowtie, and I had no issues. Apparently a more recent unit from them had issues as posted by another member.
My 765R4 is in my M1025 for years now working perfectly, and my M1165 has a...
I know Hummer H1 Eric for some time now. Great guy always out on the trails. Rebuilt that HMMWV from nothing. Converted it to 12V.
Great guy. Capable guy. Great rig.
I was reprimanded (rightfully) by Mogman for not posting here. 😉
I was out driving yesterday with my neighborhood friend who also has been infected by the HMMWV bug. Beautiful day.
Beautiful drive. Lots of people pointing and waving and saying hello.
I had the “sunroof” open for some terrific...
Just picked up what looks like a solid used N3135 dual voltage regulator for 200 amp dual alternator unit. Bargain basement price $150. I couldn’t resist, but does it work???
Is there a bench test for it? The rig is in California and the regulator is in NYC. I’d like to check the unit before...
That doesn’t mean that genetics is the only way to catch prostate cancer. Just like men contracting breast cancer at certain military facilities.
We are off topic. I’m happy to PM.
