I am selling, for a limited time, a set of decompression muffler bearings that make pull starting easier and will throw in a shorter air-lift pull start conversion kit. All in mat black so please don't ask for 383 green.

the real cost of owning a HMMWV

I got mine at auction, it was running and driving. Hammer price plus fees, taxes, transportation, full normal maintenance, conversion from 2 door soft top to 4 with x doors, airlift bumper, 'restoration' type thing in interior plus extra goodies I'm at $12,000 all-in right now and do all the...

    Juan's M998 HMMWV

I called Pulsetech to see if they would suggest an alternate panel to use with the 735X650 and literally the guy said nothing...his answer "nope" and wouldn't suggest anything or answer questions. I have this unit (no panel). If I find a suitable replacement, will post it here.

    3Jacks HMMWV build

86humv, I've been thinking about your post and come to think of it, when I removed the commander front seat there was no mount present other than the seat frame (it was held in by 6 bolts thru the floor). There was a rectangle shaped area unpainted with a little sealant / adhesive residue on the...

    3Jacks HMMWV build

The short answer: I'm an idiot and didnt buy enough and was more concerned about getting 40mils of product from firewall back through seating area. The more I look at it...I might just have to buy more and shoot the tunnel. The bed I'm not so concerned about sound proofing, that will just be...

    TM question on Heater assembly

Alright, I see nothing in -1 about removal of the assembly and as a logical person I would think it might be located under the engine cooling systems but I see nothing in -2 about it. Give me a hint...what chapter am I glossing over that has this in it?

    TM question on Heater assembly

Is there a TM for the removal of the heater assembly, water valve & controls (and diverter assembly) that is different than what is shown in the parts TM 9-2320-28-24P-2? I feel like I'm overlooking it and its right in front of my face... Thanks

What have you done to your HMMWV today/lately

Took out the interior to begin prep for lizard skin and cleaned out what I swear was 100 lbs of dirt and enough loose nuts, washers and bolts to fill my local hardware store shelves. When I was in the army I don't remember carrying around a lot of coinage...but there was a solid $4 bucks in...
