Is the 2 wire connector that goes from your time delay module and Cadillac valve unplugged? That keeps your fan clutch on all the time and it's a pretty decent loss of power.
. Not sure since it accumulated dirt. I cleaned the area in hopes it would appear in definite fashion. I live on a dirt road so it's hard to keep it "clean"
I don't know if the hub input or output seals could / would cause this...but there was no gear oil on the tire and wasn't sure if the lower ball joint had grease in it (I can't see a Zerk there). Thought maybe someone would have seen this before since that nut was soaked at one point.
Porky, i...
Soon to be on gamehsow network...the Emmy award winning: name that leak!
seriously...drive gear retainer is dry, so is the steering arm cover. Only the nut on the lower ball joint is wet. Anyone know where this is coming from?
Changed geared hub fluid and painted the rims. Cleaned up and painted rear seats and seat belt mounts. Transfer case fluid and fresh oil...productive hmmwv weekend!
The parts TM has a better diagram. Hydroboost looks to be the lower line, closest to passenger side. 10 more minutes in the TM's and you eventually find what you are looking for...
Putting some new hoses on and normally I mark the location of what comes off and where it comes from. This time I did not...paying the price now.
My PS pump:
9-232--280-2 section 8-25 shows (Line 8 in the diagram comes from Hydroboost). The diagrams don't have the return lines in the same...
Odometer on a MV is not reliable and if he is telling you it's rebuilt with 4K miles on it because the odometer shows 4K...that may not (read likely) be accurate. If your itching to get one it's not a horrible price. However you might want to learn a bit about maintenance on these things...mine...
I put bullet LED's in, switch operated...pretty bright but I don't know about the durability. The inside of the light sticks out an inch or so into the wheel well and gravel roads will ultimately damage them but we'll see how they hold up.
Did your rig come with backup lights or are you installing them yourself? Here in MO we need those, lighted plate and an interior rear view mirrror as part of the inspection.
Are those milspec car seats...can't find the part number in the TM's! Then again it takes me longer to find things in TM's than it does to actually fix what's broken.
the rig is ridiculously awesome. Nice work.
Looking awesome Bravo! I've got a solid 8 hrs in each of my doors...will post the before, during and after photos when they are done. It's a big job for someone who doesn't do body work with resin for a living. It's an art and anyone who can do it...mega props.
