I remember a thread about the same thing and it was a failing/failed TCU. Replaced and the “constant trans light” went away.
If it’s shifting like normal and no codes, that’s a pretty likely candidate…

You need to read the “Supplement 7 4L80E Troubleshooting guide”.

Embarking on lots of projects at once and am looking for the “fuzzy” seal that goes around the window on X Doors. I’m looking for close to original or better but not peel and stick.
Anyone done this before? Thanks!

Circuit numbers are the "same" throughout a vehicle as long as it hasn't been "fooled" with. The 29 circuit should be 24V from the start/run switch since that's what it is going to the trans relay. It's safe to assume that your 29Z is switched power for one of the other two relays, but I...
You can access it from the other side, but you need to use the ratchet to take it up about 1/4” to get over the catch on the bumper.

There are 2 “29” wires in that area, 29D from the run switch to the circuit breaker and 29T from the circuit breaker to the 12V relay for the TCM. I can check to see what the 29T is later for M/F if that’s the one you need. I don’t have the original breaker installed to check the other...
Looks like its supposed to go to the turn signal flasher that's just above and behind the start switch. I'd bet there's a 4"x3" spot with something missing there instead though...
When these get REALLY bad (as all connectors will eventually) we break off the threaded ring and slowly work out the connector body from the receptacle. That takes patience and a screwdriver but can remove it with little to no damage to the mating connector.
Just another idea if it needs to...
Working on installing a Amtech Legacy 4 top and am trying to find the windshield latches for it. Calls and emails to Amtech go unanswered, Kascar shows stock but doesn’t have any. I’m now looking for an alternative to the “factory” draw latches. Anyone find an alternative?
Thanks!

It’s a Cole Hersee 24505 Lockout Lever Kit.

I need to replace my speedo cable grommet but can’t find it without the harness. Has anyone found a substitute? I’m still hunting a standard option but a split option would be a bit easier to install.
What do you do???
Thanks!

Black Dog Customs was the only place I found the brackets when I was looking, they're almost as expensive as . Ended up finding a base local with the brackets and abandoned the "buy it from AM General" plan that I had.
Read the MWO, it gives you all of the part numbers for the "missing" brackets and hardware you need to complete the install. There's 2 brackets on the floor (some say use reinforcement plates, others say no) and also a "riser" bracket that goes between the base and seat that goes on top of the...
I’ve got the drivers base and all the brackets but didn’t get the reinforcement plate shown in the MWO. I’ve seen pics of some with it installed and others without. What’s the “right” answer? Opinions?
Thanks!
