nice mod. putting the cutoff switch there is easier than mounting in the cab...which I did.

there is also a big difference whether you have the zipper boot or the regular boot. zipper is quick and a piece of cake. the non-zipper will require much more work...both are covered extensively.

mine did the same thing. found the wire was worn where it comes out of the steering box. I replaced the wire and added a service loop to stop any further rubbing. problem solved.

I struggled with finding the gasket kit. Mine was leaking pretty bad. I went ahead and swapped it with a rebuild. about $200.00 bucks later and i'm off and running again. The swap took about 3 beers to complete.

My M1008 start out super slow and gain speed after a bit. I'm not sure what that means either.

LOL - I saw the same thing. Upon much closer observation, I think an airshift front axle switch was added just next to the heater controls.

That is super clean. that is one vehicle on my wish list.
