As long as your negative jumper cables is hooked to the rear battery negative post , you should be able to jump the rear battery.
Been a while since I've played with cucv's, but if I remember correctly I've done it without issue.
Bobbed deuce. Aftermarket power steering.
I have nothing useful to add. I watch with interest to see what the eventual resolution is. Meanwhile I'll hold off on adding PS to my deuce on 395's.
In real world situations, likely one battery is more dead than the other, so it's worth attempting to jump one battery from a 12v vehicle.
If you're going to attempt to charge both of the cucv's batteries, instead of wiring them together just charge one for 10 min or so and then attempt to...
We've got a truck(M923A1) that's having trouble maintaining air pressure. It had a couple of constant leaks that we fixed, and several intermittent leaks (heisenbugs).
One of the leaks is the shutterstat. Fan is on. Whistling leak at the external vent port.
While obviously the long term...
And at the point you haven't found any obvious problems to correct and you feel the need to start throwing parts at it.... start with the rubber fuel lines.
The rubber lines can appear to be brand new with no problems whatsoever and still suck air.
You can.
My opinion is that is also a suboptimal solution, but it works.
A mixed set means the spare won't match. This has the potential of sticking a combat rim on the front if the front blows and the spare is a combat rim, or puts a hemtt rim with its different offset on the back if your...
A brief overview of the air system-
Truck starts. Has no air. Begins building air.
Pressure rises. When it hits 70psi or so, the PPV opens and "nonessential" equipment gets air. This includes wipers, horn, tcase, and air governor.
At 120psi the expello valve on the air dryer sneezes, and...
The best deal going on 16.00s are the remold XZLs that Wes has. If I were equipping a truck with 16.00s in today's market that's what I'd use.
PM inbound.
You want hemtt rims. That's the best solution for the clearance issues.
But you can adjust the stops on the steering and get away with your combat rims. Yes, the tires fit.
You can articulate enough to strike the bed. Solution here is a thicker chunk of wood between the bed and frame, or...
Most likely it got new gauges at reset so what it shows is what's been put on it since reset.
Not all engines were swapped. The data plate on driver side front of engine will tell you if so.
The rust proofing by KS was unparalleled.
