Elijah95,
I agree!! The cost of shipping a truck could be more than the truck.
I got shipping quotes for just some little thing weighing like 400 pounds and it was over $600. So like a $1.50 a pound. So shipping a 30k pound truck would be $45,000. Man! I should be a trucker!!!
I received an email from GP today and here is what it said:
Your EUC has been received and it looks good.
We will get it submitted in the next batch to Trade Security Controls.
It normally takes TSC 8-12 weeks to process the EUC for approval unless you have had an EUC approved by them in the...
Mine was submitted 7/30/19 and the status is "EUC form printed Fill EUC" but I know they got it and looked at it because they sent me an email.

EUC form printed Fill EUC
Well, I got the horn cap. It is just that, a cap. It is very thin aluminium and has Oshkosh printed on it. I was expecting to also get the part under it that adds the thickness so you can push on it without breaking it. So now I need to wait until I get the truck so I can see exactly what I am...
Gunzy, Thanks for the tip. I checked ebay and the ones saw there did not look right for the MTVR. So I thought I would take a look at Lisa's quote and there was the Oshkosh part number. I searched ebay for that and some guy in Germany is selling them. So I bought one of them because they were...
So I bid on, won, and paid for my MTVR. I even paid for the SF 97 and all the CA taxes. And I did submit my EUC. After a few days I checked my status and it said waiting for EUC. So I called GP and said hey, I emailed that in.They said "Oh we are really busy and we probably got it so don't...
I lot of the trucks I have looked at and bid on have non working horns and heaters. In fact, my truck has both of the problems. I pay attention to the oil pressure, if it is below 25 psi then I don't want that truck. I don't mind if the heater and horn don't work. Once I fix mine, I will post...
Now, back to the actual subject of this thread, I did hear back from Lisa and she was able to find the part I need. I need the steering wheel cover which has the "OSHKOSH" logo and it is used to honk the horn. She was very helpful and she did some research to find the NSN because I did not have...
Sorry I am late posting this. I have a lot of junk going on . . . .
I have checked a few of my wheels and they are all basically the same even though I can see there are from different MK23 trucks.
gringeltaube is correct. My wheels are marked 20x10 and are 2 part. They have 12 bolts holding...
Wes,
I can email you the list of MTVR part numbers I have. What format do you need it in? I mean like PDF or Excel. Also what order do you want the columns in, part number first, then NSN, then description?
Hi,
I have a few parts for these trucks, like the tires and rims in the classifieds but I also needed some other parts. One part I need is the steering wheel cap. It honks the horn. So I called Oshkosh Defense and asked them "How can I get parts?" They said, "We are not supposed to talk to you...
I got one. I will be flying to CA to pick mine up next week. I plan to drive it from Yermo, CA to SLC, UT. It has no A/C so it will be HOT!!
Karl, I was raised in Fargo ND. Over by the airport on 9 1/2 street. I am glad to get out of the winters there.
