Yes. 70 pics. GP truck but appears from a private owner, being used as a water wagon. Looks decent condition, I can see the axle boots and maybe the front seals leaking. Says runs, drives and components functional. Oil leak on engine somewhere, maybe fuel leak. Nothing I can’t handle. I wasn’t...
Well if all else fails, I can sell the tires alone for what I paid for the truck. Then get into the other parts. I’m not new to this game.

The lowers haven’t been bad. I haven’t started the 2 uppers yet. Tomorrow is the day. For paint on the threads I just burned it off with a little mapp gas torch. Once it gets brittle and toasty a wire brush, then you can see some of the cadmium plating on the end threads. Luckily there is only...
What’s up CA peeps. Mike from Bakersfield.
Won a M923 from GP for a great price in Nipomo, central coast. I haven’t seen the truck but supposedly runs and drives and is functional. I’m sort of helping a friend get into his first truck and officially get into the hobby. He doesn’t have a lot of...
Thank you Warren. I’m new to the 5T world. I’ll definitely take this to heart. I was only looking to remove a few leafs to get a clear shot with a BFH to pop out the threaded ends of the inserts. Removing just the carrier will get me to the nuts better. With all the airlines and stuff in the way...
Ah I see...thank you. So you don’t even need to mess with the spring pack bolt. And the axles won’t come flying straight up. Good to know. And if you did have to pull the spring pack bolt, the nut is on top for easier disassembly. I’m assuming the head is in a hex-shaped hole to hold it in place...
Hello, reviving this thread. When taking the spring pack apart on the passenger side of the truck. Without having to buy and make a special wrench, I think unbolting would give the best access to the ends of the upper torque rods for me. If I have the rear of the truck supported by jackstands...
Nice. I’ll be hopefully driving my deuce to Rosemond tomorrow to pickup some tires and a hardtop for my M923A2. I need to burn through some of this oil I have laying around.

I always thought that would be the next step to replace with that style. It’s coming from the rear like you said. They’re pricey but will definitely last longer than the factory rubber bushing type. Mine are starting to crack, so looks like that job is coming soon.

Sometimes mine hits potholes and wants to jump to the next lane. I’ve done the caster mod and power steering and G177 radials.

Napa 4309 is nearly a perfect fit, need to make a bracket. The lines might need a slight tweak to get them to line up, it wasn’t much work to make it work on mine. I borrowed the adapters from the old housing to convert the NPT threads on the housing to the line threads.

I wish I could make it this year. Unfortunately it falls right during spring break (I’m a teacher) and I need to do some major yard renovation after my pool contractor destroyed it earlier this year. I got a ton of NOS stuff to sell too.

Hello CA peeps. Admin please delete if this isn’t allowed.
Currently traveling for business I have a few M35 air filters with me for sale, $40 each, NOS. Also will be back up in a few weeks in the San Jose and Oakland area, I have some medium tow bars with all the pins and 3/4” feet for $300...
