Got the new bushings pressed in last night, need to remove about 0.010-0.012” off each one.
I found an adjustable reamer for $39 on the famous auction website. When I’m done I’ll lend these out to anyone that wants to borrow as long as they pay the to/from shipping. Also found one for the...
Thanks.
How is the new plate with pre-installed bushings easier or a different ID? Wouldn’t they be the same size as the ones I got from the other vendors with the only difference being new plates?

Yes. 1.124 on the pins, 1.123 on the installed bushings. I’ll probably head to a machine shop when I get the new bushings. I’ll have to have the spindles done too anyways.
Ain’t broke don’t fix it they say :(

Yes, that is the ID of the holder before the bushing is pushed in. You add the thickness of the bushing .062 x 2. So I have zero or negative tolerance and they are being crushed. I was wondering if this was common, and sounds like in your experience they are.

I have an extra regular m35 single Circuit MC Mount I got off a parts truck last month. Comparing that to the 3D model I printed out from Peashooters grab cad file, there are a lot of similarities to modify the original design into the dual circuit design. At least that’s the route I’m going to...
I believe it has changed since. Mine was a similar situation, my buddy is having to go through more red tape with his. He is also dealing with a title service.

The problem is that in order to apply for historic plates, you must first have commercial plates, which means it needs a weight needs to be done. If it’s already historic then you’re fine.

I know a guy in the process of registering here right now. He’s going through a title company. They have to register it as commercial before you can even apply for historic.
That way they can getcha for that weight fee.
$$$ for the roads you know...

John, my deuce has been registered historic for years. On my registration, there is no weight listed, fuel type, nothing commercial whatsoever. It just says 66 Kaiserjp. No model. Just classified as UT (truck). I also got my new registration renewal in November after this came out, the fees went...
