I'm curious as to the "Why" of this. The trailer doesn't know it's nose down. Obviously if the angle is substantial, I could see the effect of reduced braking as the force isn't applied directly. Ive towed my A3 with plenty of different vehicle and the trailer was not always level but never...
Load distribution and load securement is much more critical than a level trailer. A single axle has less concern since there is no spring hangar gemoetry to consider.
I am far from an authority on this issues but from my experience, all the chasing is due to the person uploading pics. Many folks use their phone for pics and sadly, many didn't get the memo from life and and use portrait mode. There must be a setting in some of these phones that changes or...
A word on sliders. Rick is right, they are pretty efficient at clearing bed debris into the cab, I still like them though. I had one on a truck that ended up with an SECM body. Let me tell you, the blast of air that gets forced in the cab from that box is a blessing on hot days. Wow!
Hoses near the tank are subject to cracks and sucking air. Metal line there is also an issues. I had to rig up suction off the aux pickup several years ago after suffering similar issues. Once I dropped the tank, found bad hoses in the area.
Great idea except for a couple of issues. This garage is primarily for the wife and heres the big one, the 8' elevation difference front to back. I wanted to build the garage with a walkout basement but if was financially not possible. Next year I get to build myself a polebarn.
We are going...
What I have I done to mine? Well, moved them around the backyard. Been in GA a year, the ambulace was here 6 months before that. It hasn't been driven more than a few miles. Both trucks are trapped now. New garage construction has blocked them in.
Is anyone attending this event? I plan on being there with children in tow. Caveat, I might need help at registration all Friday eve. If my son has a football game, I must go. Since they are on fall break, I hope that they are on a bye week as well.
I'll be available to help with MKT breakdown as well as my other chores. Gunnermac and Wheelspinner are fixtures at the reg tent. My kids are on fall break once again and will be present to assist.
It came out great. I think this is one of the best uses for an M200. They are cool trailers without much use otherwise. Would also make a beefy shelter toter.
I have 2 CUCVs and one civy V30. Unless I'm planning a road trip I leave the hubs locked. Need them that way just to get out of the yard. For as little as they travel, the costs is worth the convenience.
