Ok, just catching up on my reading here. It sounds like the truck is in your possession. We like photos around here, so please post some pics of your snow run!
Yep
I think all you need is enough ring left to hold the four shafts for the spider gears. As long as you can hold the gears in place so the backlash can be measured/adjusted. R&R is required to change out shims each time you get it wrong, but it works good.
I have never seen one. So you don’t think it’s for the cover, but possible a turret attachment? What is it about the gasket that leads you that direction. Are the bolt holes punched on a different pattern?
Guys, jamawieb was kind enough to assist me in chasing down this weird overload condition. I ran the genset today hooked to an electric range. All burners and oven on draws 13KW. I ran it for 3 hours with all on and one burner on medium to shift the load up and down a bit. Here’s a short video...
Park on a slant so the oil is away from that end of the axle cap. Unthread the cap and re-seal. You could probably clean things up and add some RTV silicone to the existing seal and get it to stop leaking.
And therein lies the great mystery. Why do we have emissions equipment? So we can pay more... Kind of like the smartphone scam. Update OS 3-4 times, then you need a new piece of hardware to run the silly new OS's
BTW, congrats on passing with flying colors.
No power at the convenience outlet is probably why this unit was sold... couldn’t charge cellphone or power a TV set...
Seriously though Skeeter, it’s probably something simple. Do you have a volt/ohm meter? What about power at the output terminals? With the TMs and a good meter...
Good Lord willing and the creek don’t rise, I’ll never live in an HOA zone.
Wes, we are all rooting for you.
I enjoy the freedoms of relieving myself behind the shed, storing MV parts and the option of parking a big truck in my driveway.
I was able to file the tumbler wafers on the old lock to allow the new key to work. I posted photos and a description in my 1078 thread last year. I may be able to dig up a link to that post later and include here.
Fuzzy, there is a relay that controls the "Start Inhibit" switch. It may be worth checking that out to verify it's not something that simple. Check out relays K19 and K24.
Also, I wonder if that excitation relay or circuit could be faulty?
I’d try these if I needed rear sway bar bushings...
