You run plates on your truck????
Alabama only requires one plate. Trucks can put them on the front or the back. No illumination required. Since I have bumper numbers stenciled on my truck I just put the plate in the front window and call it good.
I would think you could cobble together...
Let me inject (no pun intended) this into the mix. If water makes it past a filter and goes through the pump and is sent to the injectors it can turn to steam and pop the tip off an injector. This allows raw fuel to enter the cylinder in a stream and hit the piston. If this happens the raw fuel...
This is without a doubt the greatest "Cyber family" in the world. While we all come from various walks of life we all share the same passion for our military vehicles.
Like all families we have our milestones. Birth and death are in the circle of life and when the latter comes too soon to a...
Are you using the right tool? I think a 1/2 (or maybe 3/4) inch drive ratchet fits right into the square hole (using a short extension helps). It has been my experience that you will need a cheater bar to get the plug to break loose. If the hole is rounding out you may have to drill it and use a...
There was a thread just a few days ago that had ways to increase the top speed but they all seemed to involve a lot of work and some degree of danger to the double breasted Driptroit engine. If you are buying a HETT with speed or fuel mileage in mind you are backing up.
If you are an avid GL watcher you know how many brand new MRAP components are being sold. If one had a hull one could conceivably build an MRAP type vehicle.
I would love to have a couple for movie props.
I wonder if we could do a fund raiser and get some corporate sponsors for a group to go over. Maybe GL and some of the big vendors would be willing to contribute.
Finding tools in any vehicles is luck of the draw. If the vehicle was turned in with a full set of Basic Issue Items (BII) and they make it through DRMO to GL and don't walk off before the vehicle is sold you might find them in the toolbox. The first deuce I ever bought (sight unseen) was...
There were Minuteman Missile Trains that were supposed to deployed around the country at one time but the end of the Cold War stopped the plan.https://www.google.com/search?q=minuteman+missile+train&tbm=isch&tbo=u&source=univ&sa=X&ei=BtCpUqfHGMS1kQfX7oDoBg&ved=0CEUQsAQ&biw=1032&bih=457

It has been addressed a few times. You can try search (kind of hinky sometimes) or maybe one of the gurus will post a link. I think most people have mounted them on the wall behind the drivers seat.
If you cage the brakes you could load it with a fork lift if it would push it up the ramps of the trailer. I loaded some out of Albany for some fellow members and IMHO the best way to do it is with a rotator wrecker. It will cost you some bucks but might save a lot of damage and wringing of...
