Only if I find some 395's to put on it. A couple of the tires are already bad and 52 mph just won't cut it. To many people running 75+. That's all I can say. I especially don't want to hijack this thread.
Don't all new administrators have to help each SS member in some way? I'll take the "Hauling of an A3 from Georgia to Ohio" please,if it is not taken already.
That is for COMMERCIAL MOTOR VEHICLES. I talked to the Ohio DMV at some length and privately owned vehicles do not fall under the rules of cmv's. But I haven't tested this theory to any length.
Dang. I didn't even get to post to the new classified thread before it was closed. I'm a slow reader. The $15 is nothing for all of the use that I get out of this site. Classifieds are a big part of why I am a member.I am always looking for parts. That is why I go to the meets, to find parts.But...
This is true if it is going to be used as a commercial vehicle. I can legally drive a semi truck and trailer, loaded to 80,000 pounds, for my own personnal use and not need a cdl. But I bet that I would be proving my case in court after my first run-in with local leo's. It's just like fighting the...
Double check your fluid level. When it gets low, 4th gear starts to slip. Oh yeah....before that, make sure the breather on top of the transmission is clear. It is a 1/4 inch black plastic tube. Remove the flare nut and tube and see if air pressure comes out.
Here is a picture of the filter system that I installed on my A3. I had a heck of a time getting fuel to the injectors the first time it ran. I ended up cleaning all of the crud out of the small inline check valves on either side of the piston pump and adding air pressure to the fuel tank...
I am just saying about the engine rpm. I would run any of them at 2100 all day long. It would be nice to have an extra couple of hundred rpm for passing that stubborn suv that won't get out of your way. And it would be legal to drive on the freeways in Maryland.:D
How about everyone that needs them pm me. That way I can get an accurate count and get them ordered. These are the original .31 diameter, orange silicone o-rings,OR20TUA's at $9.00 each.
I am having problems too.Understanding why they pulled all of the 915A1's in Ohio from the sale. Had to have been over 30 of them. Just when I thought I might have a chance to bid........gone. Sorry. Different kind of probem.
For you guys that are worried about the 2100 rpm limit, I have a friend that pulls with his truck and has the rpm set at 4000. At 60 pounds of boost and 1000 psi of rail pressure,he is getting about 1500 horse power. All stock bottom end.Even with steel pistons. He has used the same bearings for...
