    They are supposed to have a locker in the forward rear. The 916's-920's had lockers in both axles. NDT...you could hve a broken axle shaft in the forward rear.

    Those vent tubes are too small to stay clean. They are only about 1/8" id and get plugged very easily with any oil or moisture.

    I would consider removing the vent line off of the top of the transmission. I know of a half a dozen trannys that have been ruined because of the vent line getting plugged.

    I think the 5 ton o-rings have a 5/16 cross section and the hemtt's are 3/8. I gotta get the ruler out.

    I think the original manufacturer is Haltec. I talked to them about valve stems and also asked about o-rings. The number on the o-ring is OR20 if I remember correctly. They said it crossed to another number which I have at work. The orange o-ring is for low temperatures...probably silicone.I...
