Good job,DaveP. I offered to bring some trucks up to the moving wall that will be on display in N.E. Ohio this weekend and they said "this ain't a truck show".What can you do???
So that's what they mean when they say a barn big enough to hold a HEMTT! That is an awesome truck.Better not let Oshkosh see it or they'll want it back.
I hear ya Oilcan.Stupid stuff for me is my boss....such a d%#k.And no I don't work for myself....yet.And then you got friends that go and tell ya all about it and are SUPPOSED to be looking for parts for you too.
Eric will help you get it off of his truck. He will keep the winch hooked to it as you pull it off with another truck. He has a remote for the winch so that he can steer the deuce down the trailer.I would vote for the low gear method for stopping on the road.Just make sure the fuel shut-off cable...
I just measured mine. 57 inches long,20 1/4 inches behind the cab. There is about 1 1/2 inches between the front fender and the tank.Let me know if you need any other measurements or pictures.
You need to get rid of that thing. It's no good.I'll come out and dispose of it for you!;-) That is a great looking MG-1.As you can tell by my avatar,I have a fondness for them as well.Bought 1 but never got it home before someone else had to have it.I screwed up.Keep an eye out for me.Try the...
The time frame is good. When are you headed to n.w. pa and what town? I have to make a trip to Mechanicsburg next week too.I want to swing by Oilcan's and pick up some wheels.
Trying to get a 5 ton front winch to a fellow Steel Soldier member from Kingsville, Ohio to Greeneville,Tn.. It is bolted to a small pallet and weighs about 500 pounds.Anyone headed south?
I think that I have found a source for new rebuild kits for these. If we can get enough interest,I could probably get them cheaper.Right now they are about $35.00 each plus shipping.I am going to buy one and make sure it is correct.
Gimpy.I posted about the windshield hinge.Don't know if I am going to make it or not yet so don't worry about it.Hopefully we can cross paths in the near future.
If I can find enough parts to pick up down there,it would give me an extra reason to drive the 350 miles.Might be able to bring the 923.I am looking for the output yoke, seal and seal plate for the back of a deuce tranny, front axle shafts, headlights, master cylinder rebuild kits, air pack kit (or...
