I am not sure about the small wire on the starter. 50/50 chance.If that isn't the problem,check the starter relay located under the dash near the radio plate.It is probably missing or inop.
15w-40....unless you are rebuilding the trans like I am.I am going to purge the cooler and lines and use ATF.The 16 speed cat transmissions in the M915's use 15w-40 too.

Most of it just sits in position without fasteners but the piece around the trans tunnel has some small straps and sheet metal screws.And you are right Will,traps dirt and water.
Ty.I found another dipstick and cut it down to length.Didn't help much as I had to pull the trans anyway.What a job that was......had to drop the front of the trans almost down to the ground before the rear would drop out.Took about a week of chains,ropes,pulleys and blocks to get it out.The...
