Hi Ross.I believe that it is the same alternator as m35's and 800's but may have a different pulley diameter.A2's might be a different story since they have the serpentine belt.I know that the A3 deuce uses the same old alternator but has a serpentine pulley. If you need pulley dimensions,I can...
I would recommend unbolting the rear driveshaft and tying it up and make sure the lockouts are not engaged.A friend was toeing a M1009 and had the transfer case in neutral. It vibrated into gear somehow and ruined the front axle because the front axle had no lube in it.
Where are you at Coeder?I am in Kingsville (N.E) and have a deuce at Huntsville,Al. that needs to come up this way.I would drive it if I knew it might make it but have been looking into transport too.Might be able to share a trailer if you are going to haul one.How many is a few anyway?Greg
Welcome FordFoxGt! And I must say soo long too as I am in N.E. Ohio (Kingsville). I'm sure you'll find lots of good friends down there. If you get the green jitters before you leave, you can come out and look at my junk pile of about 25 trucks.I'll have to warn you though,I'm sorta a Chevy guy.
Your in luck gottahave one! I was just going to change my name to gottasellone. I am in Kingsville,Ohio which is 40 miles from Erie.Come on out and take one for a ride.I'm sure we can make a deal.Just got put on 4 days pay for 5 days work.Anyone hiring out there?
My euc just cleared for the deuce A3 that I bought down there.Wreckerman and twright did some peakin for me.I don't know if I will be making a trip down or having it moved some other way,but I would be glad to look if I do go down.I have found several sources for shipping as well.Greg
I found a few things about the hydraulic motor.NSN number is 4320-01-137-6293. One vendor is Eaton Fluid Power, phone number 952-949-1694. I have not found any specifics of it yet.I'll be needing the same motor for my 900 winch also.
Just getting some ideas of costs to haul an M35A3 from Redstone Arsenal to Kingsville, Ohio or within a hundred miles of. Mapquest says 690 miles. It would need to be winched on as I do not know if it runs.I will check to see if there is a loading ramp.No problem getting it off a trailer here in...
My buddy runs his Kenworth road tractor with a Cummins N14 (nearly the same bottom end as the 250 ) at 3500 when he is at the truck pulls. After a year of abuse,he'll pull the pan and check the bearings...always good.He does have stiffer valve springs and uses high quality racing oil in it...
Beauty of a scout car.Any chance of finding out if the John Deere is for sale? That's either a model R diesel or model 80 diesel.I bought an R out of Montana and love it. 406 cubic inch 2 cylinder.
Hey guys.Just wanted to bump this back up to the top.My buddy is still looking for new fan/generator belts for his M5.They are 1 1/16 inches wide and everywhere he has checked nobody has that size.Any info would be appreciated.
I think that I saw this tractor pull last year at a fair in western Pa.I was very impressed. They had some tuning issues but it sounded like he was turning 6000 rpm.I talked to him after the pull and he said it was an all stock bottom end.Didn't see him this year.Darn
Thanks Chris.I'll have to figure out which ones I have on the 923.I've got got 4 of the 10 stud on the back and 2 of the 20 stud on the front.I also have 6 extra wheels for future projects.I'll pick up a few of those o-rings just to have on the shelf.Good luck with your project. If I notice any...
Chris.Great info on the 20" o-rings.These are for the A2 wheels? Please help me understand the difference. Are the A2's the 10 bolt or the 20 bolt wheels?I believe the o-rings are different for each. Thanks,Greg
