I didn’t miss the point at all.
I have Centrimatics with tires that were installed this way. I then balanced the tires and they are perfect at all speeds.
The five gallon inverted bucket allows more balanced tire installation, thereby reducing rim offset and mismatched halves. It allows the...
Stop torturing yourself.
Just get a five gallon bucket and flip upside down. Place the inner rim on that. Place the tire with internal runflats over that. Don’t forget to place lubricant bundles in to lubricate the runflats. Then place your gasket. Then place the outer rim over everything...
Weather? Winds here blow too liberal.
“Don’t need a weatherman to know which way the wind blows.... can’t use the fountain ‘cause the vandals stole the handles”.
CamO Is less referring to indexing and more stating that you might be off by 180 degrees.
Also, remove the wipers and mark the spindles and see how they move. They should always park in the same position. Use that information to re-mount the wipers properly.

3 - alternatively pre-pressurize fuel tank to see if it is electric pre-pump.
4 - Crack injector and crank to see if fuel comes out.
Maybe you just need to find new (and smarter) friends.

Yeah, I get where Papa is coming from but we all gotta start somewhere and none of us come out of the box knowing it all....
As far as my .002... All are welcome here (as long as they are not tree hugging dope smoking sandle wearing Democrats)

I have less experience with HMMWV’s than Cam, but I have huge experience with heat soaked starters.
Heat shield +/- new or rebuilt starter should fix. Only problem with that is a PCB issue where the glow plug sensor is somehow farked and preventing start when warm.
Heat soak is not uncommon...
