    What have you done to your 5 ton this week?

    A large grade 8 bolt welded on and then painted to match. Not the best looking solution, but definitely strong enough. Probably cheaper than having large washers made.

    When it got hot, it came out of assembly just enough to stop making contact. You can see where it was arcing a bit then stopped when it could no longer make contact. Will see if new part solves issue tomorrow. Part needed replaced anyway at least.

    Both stock alternators on a stock CUCV are isolated Ground.

    Both Alternators are identical in stock CUCVs. That way it’s easier on logistics. But since yours has been messed with, who knows what is still stock or if it’s even same alternator.

    Suppressor had been removed before truck came to auction. The 50A is on the brown wire I believe, but don’t think it’s any issue. Will check the bottom fuse again and swap it out with a new one JIK. Same with blower motor fuse. How many fusible links are under Dash? Will be taking out...

    I did that yesterday and physically checked every fuse link. Already applied Electrical grease to everything and made sure all connections tight. Hands on checking everything, not just looking.

    The Doghead relay one. If the fan switch is bad, would that make GEN1 light come on when turned on? I’m not seeing it in the TM schematics so far.

    Made a Jumper and jumped the starter relay terminals. Fired right up. Relay went out. Will get a new one. Still troubleshooting blower motor issue.

    Just checked the starter relay with a voltmeter. 25.08V (engine off) on red wire. Nothing on the others. Same readings when turning key to start position. Edit: Voltmeter shows GP relay functioning normally
