Hey Gimp,
Do you think there is enough room to move the box closer to the frame in order to allow the box and the box door to clear the side clearance lights?
I am interested in that US6-I know I'll never find the right bed for it, but I'd like to know where/how much.
I do have a deuce with a towbar................ :)
Hey Loki,
This is the 2011 rally t-shirt thread-you'll need the 2012 thread, which is here: http://www.steelsoldiers.com/showthr...2+tshirt+rally
Hope you can make it! We had a great 2012 and 2013 will be even better.
I am going to close this thread now so there isn't any future...
Per Carnac's request, I have closed this thread.
There will be a 2013 VIN thread shortly, but please give Carnac 30-60 days, as he is dealing with work issues taking up his time, computer issues and such.
Also, please read his post a couple posts above-the donations to the Gene Vance fund...
Bill is really particular-when I saw his deuce for the first time, I tried to tell him how nice it was but he just yelled at me to stay away from it.

M34 and M35 are identical except for the bed, wheels and tires.
M35 has the standard bed like all the A1's and A2's, with dualled 9.00x20 tires.
M34 has 11:00x20 singled rear tires, with the M135 style rims with different offset, and the bed with cutouts for the rear tires. Inside the bed, it...
Ok, then your VIN is 0125 plus what the 5 digits are behind it.
It has a dash in it from the factory ("0125-20955") but I remove the dash when I title them ("012520955").
The 0125 verifies it is a 1967 vehicle.
Short answer?

Long answer? Lots of people have put together lots of attempts, some successful. Search "power steering" in the deuce modification forum. You'll find threads like these...
The 4J3 is probably the military's registration #. Lots of folks who don't know what they're doing don't know which one to use.
Look on the framerail on the outside near the pitman arm. Or on your dataplate. If it's a '67 it should be something like 0125-XXXXX.
That is crazy impressive. Hats off to you-like the others said above, the attention to detail and workmanship are top notch!
Thanks for sharing it with us. It's awesome.
1. Do a search for fuses or circuit breakers and you'll see that fact that the deuce only has one fuse (on the fuel pump) and one circuit breaker (horn I think) many times.
2. Do a search for "Peter Bog's Deuce Schematic" and you'll find a super nifty wiring diagram done in CAD.
3. I'd say...
