Bearenugen,
Welcome to the site. You'll have to come to the rally, links are below in my signature line with all the pics and videos from the 2012 event. It's a great time.
I'll be happy to help you in any way. You're welcome to swing by my house to talk trucks.
The master cylinder/pedal mount assy. Has a provision cast in for the shift linkage.
Shift linkage is the same, except the lever bolts directly to the mounting boss, no intermediary bracket.
I posted pics of this somewhere.
TiGWolf, I like it. Nice work. You addressed a problem I've had with adding civvy capability to M-series stuff for a long time.
And I agree there are some awful looking hitches out there.
I recently added a hitch to my M35A2C-pics can be seen here...
Not sure on the driveability issues but their is an excellent troubleshooting manual for the multifuel in the TM section that gives a step by step procedure to finding the issue.
The brake fluid coming out is indicative of a blown airpack. Plan on rebuilding/replacing.
Also, the word help...

Look what I saw today, courtesy of 3rdaavbncco. This is the adapter I need. Need at least 2, so I can add a slave port to the A2CV and one to HQ41, my '67 A2.
I think you're going to end up with something like this:

I've done a couple now.
I pull everything out of the cab (meaning the underdash section) and let it hang on the engine side of the firewall.
Then, get under, disconnect the front (main) harness from the rear harness.
Then, slowly work it off the engine, front fenders, etc.
I can't believe...
No problem, glad to help.
Since the tutorial I originally posted was in 2010, it is now out of date with the recent site upgrade. This morning I took the time to make a new one for the current system of image uploading. If you're having a hard time getting it, check this out...
