Color me confused...
Your write-up is excellent, but why such an extensive unit?
I bought a 60-70 dollar unit from E-bay that is super robust and maintains the pintle for my M1101 as well as allows civilian use with trailers...
Welcome! Park your rig, read some great threads, and gossip with us a bit.
Search option has literally tons about this. I would avoid rebuilt as these units bend a bit and most rebuilders don't ream and then press in a cylinder to make up the difference. Leads to future failure.

OK, I'm gonna weigh in here.
WHAT LIGHT SWITCH ARE YOU USING?
Made in USA? LED or manual?
Are the light bucket electrical connections shorted out?
Break out an ohmmeter and look for shorts with the system off.
If you have an LED light switch, get rid of it. If your switch is not Made in...
Who says threads don’t come back from the dead?

The rear wheels have those stupid hollow things in the axles. They are used for securing the vehicles while being transported on trains IIRC.
Never a bad idea to secure all 4 wheels against rolling fore and aft...

You're asking basic questions that a little reading and a little review of this forum will answer.
The flare/wide portion at the inner aspect of the runflat device acts as a beadlock. It forces the...
The interior of your HMMWV looks remarkably similar to an old Chevy Suburban. 🤪
Interesting use of that stuff BUT I’m considering Dragon Skin [EDIT - I meant Lizard Skin] for sound and heat. Dragon Skin [Lizard Skin] is not very expensive, it is water soluble, and it is easy to spray. Then I...
What a great idea. About as great as adding a thousand dollar PCB/EESS to an otherwise simple glow plug setup.
Now you just need that "Cable Guy" and you can start a road show.
;)
CTIS has several parts, including hubs, lines on wheels, lines in vehicle, and compressor. The front and rear axles typically act as separate units.
If you get the hubs you can engineer your own system depending on your skills and understandings.
There are 24 Volt compressors used as parts of...
