And about 79% by volume in the air you breathe....
The difference is C02 makes a weak acid when exposed to water. You don't generally want high concentrations of it around anything sensitive for long periods.
I have this same unit.
Suggestion- hold the start switch in the start position several seconds after it has begun to run. (The starter wont grind - itllncut itself out once its running)
The tractor is the best to build from in my opinion, due to the short frame. I like having the air brake control too.
And the twin tanks... and it fits in a normal parking place.
The tractor variants are not much less nimble than a longbed dually pickup. The difference in maneuverability...
And this happens with absolutely no warning. It goes from no wiggle at all to thrashing side to side trying to snap your hitch instantly.
I'm not the most cautious, but I wouldn't tow double 105s...
Media - I used just garden variety playground sand. This is NOT a recommended practice as the risk of silicosis is much higher, and it also doesn't cut nearly as well as the purpose built abrasive agents. But it matched what was already on the ground, was cheap, and readily available.
M54 m809 and m35 canlb dimensions are the same. M939 is a little larger inside.
I'm 6'2" and I find the clutch pedal decidedly awkward in the 809s.
Lockers on the front - a Detroit locker in the rears will occasionally get you a chirp of the tires on tight turns and will wear everything...
I've used that sprayer also, painting a buddy's deuce. Works just fine.
N95 masks are what we use for staff protection treating active tuberculosis patients. Properly fit, it should be adequate for any kind of particulate.
The axles are geared the same. 6.44:1
M51A2 would have been multifuel. The NH250 Cummins is a good deal more powerful, especially on low end torque. (Multifuel is cool though...)
That's Indiana law. Many states mirror federal law. The federal law only kicks in once you trigger the interstate commerce clause.
Bottom line - always check with someone knowledgeable for the details of YOUR state. (Unfortunately "someone knowledgeable" usually does not include DMV employees)
It means you spent maybe $1000.
You gained just under 10% top speed, or working it the other way you dropped your rpms by 10% at any given speed.
Practically speaking, you increased your hwy cruising speed from 55ish to about 60.
Any losses to bottom end acceleration are probably cancelled...
Only when engaged in interstate commerce. Otherwise it doesn't apply. When not engaged in interstate commerce it defaults to whatever each individual state laws say. So, varies by individual state. Many states exempt antique/historic/classic.
This is why CDL is nearly a taboo topic here.
GVWR is the trigger in many states for CDL. The 809 series has more or less the same GVWR as the 939s. You may want to check before considering one. I suspect if the 939s require a CDL the 809s will also. (I have NO IDEA what SC wants).
Advantages of an 809series over a deuce -
1) Power...
At the cost of taking away from the bottom end acceleration in direct proportion to what you're adding to top speed. And of course the cost of replacing tires.
Not enough return on investment in my opinion. The 37's are fine. Cruising speed 55ish is fine.
I'm not anti-mod or anti- tires and...
I've had M35s, m809series, and M939series.
My choice is the M939s (A0 and A1 configuration). I prefer a manual transmission, but I also prefer full airbrakes.
I drove one (3spd/6.2) from KS to GA and back recently.
So no, it just isn't that big of a deal. Much higher priorities for the $ it'd take for the difference. Sure, I'd like another gear or two, but it just isn't that big of a deal.
This.
I question the accuracy of the measurements. Does it sound like zero oil pressure?
Add me to the rotella crowd. Along with the anti drainback WIX filter.
