I agree with HndrsonJ. I just sold an average bed for $200. Paid $500 for a less than perfect but better than average A3 non dropside bed. Dropsides might be a little more.

I know one guy with a PBR is Dave P-something or other that owns WeeBee webbing (they make canvas). I don't know if he's on SS.

I just don't think we have enough boat owners to justify it. I think one of the guys from up North has a smaller boat that was the shore runner (can't remember it's real name) from a destroyer. I can't think of anyone else.

Nope. Yupp. I hate to say it, but once paint is dead (chalky, oxidized, faded, etc.), it's dead. No bringing it back. All the other stuff recommended (short of the clear Zout is going to try) will just make it a nightmare to properly clean, prep and paint when you do get around to it.

Judging by their age and condition, I'd say they were cut up many moons ago, long before the were the collectors items they are today. Their only value at the time would have been as work vehicles or scrap. Still hurts.

All you'll end up accomplishing is bringing a bunch of attention to OUR trucks. Instead of "hey yeah, we should release these HMMWV's" what will actually happen is "holy crap, we shouldn't be releasing ANY of this stuff! Thanks for bringing it to our attention."

That's the A2 schematic-poster has an A3.

Looks pretty solid-I think getting rid of the fifty coats of paint and putting a solid paint job would be pretty easy. Body looks better than a lot of the mutts we've looked at!
