I know that Ron, Swiss and mdmorgan are planning on bringing theirs, but all 3 are are in the process of being repaired, so I have to plan on backups.
Don't know if PB is bringing the cranetruck.
Eastern told you that because they're selling a slightly older version of the harness that is for earlier models with the 25A generator and some other small differences I don't remember.
There are several threads about the main harness and the ones being sold in various places.
I'd suggest...
Ok, why not someone go ahead and just make a deuce kit?
All the dash plates and the winch plates for w/w models.
Put them here and on ebay.
I'll buy a set-I need AM General M35A2C w/w.
I need a good multifuel deuce fuel tank. One that is clean inside and doesn't need to be vatted. Just found out vatting a tank that big is $250+, which is ludicrous.
I'd rather buy a good one than do that.
So you sold your bed? Are you looking for one now or have you already sourced a replacement?
Also, now that the bed is out of the way, now is the time to clean up and paint the rear area, back of the cab and do any maintenance that needs to be done (new brake lines, copper air lines, parking...
As Zout said, A/C (along with pretty much every other deuce related topic ever) has been covered in exhaustive detail, in multiple threads:

I would just buy another pressure plate. It isn't just the friction surface-it's the metal fatigue in the fingers and the springs losing pressure. Too big a job to chance it.
Also, good advice here...
1. I guess it depends-are you hung up on having a military Jeep, or just a certain look or appearance? I am more of an MV guy than a Jeep guy, so I'd want an M38 or an M38A1.
2. I don't know. I don't follow the civvy units enough to have an idea.
3. I've seen some real atrocious disasters...
So today, I somehow talked Capt. Marion and my Dad to help me pull the cab off a truck I am painting.
Much thanks to them for helping me accomplish a big task in less than favorable conditions (it was approximately 240 degrees outside).
I could not have accomplished it without them.
Thanks...
