    Toggle Starter Switch OEM?

My '87 USAF A2C has one. I thought they had robbed the starter switch from an 809 series 5 ton for it. E22, can you shed some light on the NTSB recall?

    LD 465 question

TD has nothing to do with turbo vs. non turbo applications. After a certain point, they were all cast as TD's, to accommodate the higher torque ratings of the updated head gasket. I don't know they year this occurred but I strongly believe this to be the case.

    Source for Sliding Window Felt

If it's definitely the same for M44/M39/M809 tops, I suspect you could buy it, break it up into kits and make a couple bucks to boot.

Tow bar mounts, How did you mount yours..?

Don't think I'd try the grille guard on the CUCV-just doesn't seem beefy enough. I'd maybe try to make some kind of rack that utilizes the front or rear d-ring extensions. There are a ton of towbar mounts for the 6x6's out there...

Holy crap!!!!! Really??!!!! I guess I should consider replacing the hardware that came with mine.

    New Data Plate Source

That's the guy no one can buy from. Do a search for "mvdataplates" or "Kellone" and see multiple threads where people can't buy from him, as he won't return calls or emails. That's why people are looking for an alternative to his company. I personally tried for 4 months to buy a set of...

    Fine thread bolts vs coarse

I use fine thread (even for my modifications) as I want to keep the vehicle as close to "as built/designed" as possible. Luckily, there is a Mom and Pop style hardware store near me with a great selection of fine pitch grade 8. Expensive, but what isn't.

    Thanks to Morgans, WRAFB recoveries

You must be referring to mdmorgan. I am correctly baked. I am sure you have sufficient bandwidth to cover the pics. :) Also, I wanted to make sure everyone knows how to load 2 M105's on a trailer. I am being helpful. Man, cynics everywhere!

    Thanks to Morgans, WRAFB recoveries

So once again, I want to thank the Morgans for their assistance. Clintogf bought 2 M105's from WRAFB and mdmorgan and mdmorganwife picked them up for us. mdmorgan was even swell enough to help load them. I took some pics because I know everyone loves pics. I would definitely recommend the...

    ldt465 engine paint recommendations

How anal retentive do you want to get? Hard core Mopar restorers (people building cars like this: Mopar Action On-line - Tech Archives) have stopped using spray paint for a few reasons. The colors are off according to some (I don't know about that) but the quality of the spray paint is such...

    Leaf Spring Help.

Our M38A1 had a cracked spring. I looked briefly and didn't see individual leaf sections-which is fine, as I decided a 50+ year old spring was probably due to be replaced and a little lift (1" or so) would be preferable.

Maybe I need a new bed...

I think C&C Equipment has an A3 bed right now. They occasionally come up. I bought one for my A2 w/dump conversion.

Maybe I need a new bed...

Honestly, I'd swap beds. For the following reasons: 1. They aren't hard to swap, they only weigh about 1400 lbs. 2. Standard A2 beds (non dropside, etc.) are cheap. 3. Provides the opportunity to update to a dropside or a bed with tie downs 4. If you care enough about the truck to do a...
