Steel Soldiers now has a few new forums, read more about it at: New Munitions Forums!

I am working on some additional tentage. Bobby at Streamline has always treated us right and I've pm'd him, awaiting his response.
Anyone who has a good GP medium or large who wants to bring it will definitely have assistance in putting it up and taking it down.
Wreckerman has volunteered...
I will get approval for this today. I do not see an issue with us setting up our own shower. After all, D-town allows us the MKT which directly competes with their café. I will also find out about a dump area.
Unfortunately, here recently you are acting more like the “assassin of...
VOIP is voice over internet protocol. It allows phones to make calls using an internet signal vs. the standard cellular signal. So if you have an internet connection but no cell signal, you can make a call.
Also works well in avoiding roaming charges and long distance charges.
I think scrap value plus maybe a couple hundred bucks.
Although it's well preserved, it's still a major, ground up restoration.

Also, the early deuce forum is for the GMC M135/211 series. The US6 should go in the CCKW...
I don't see why we couldn't do this. Somebody needs to touch base with BlythewoodJoe, he's an expert on stuff like this.
Also, do not forget what I said in post #155 about D-town's new showers.
No issues with early arrivals. Just make sure to pay the primitive camping fee since the...
If you don't buy it, I am loading up the towbar and heading West on Sunday!
It has the wrong bed on it and the right beds are hard to find but man, that thing is a lot nicer than what a lot of people start with.
Wait till Lowriderbrd sees it.............
See the .pdf's uploaded to this post. They should answer all the questions.
The dirt road is much larger in this area if memory serves correctly, so I think people coming and going at once should be much more manageable and less congested.
And yes, all the access points are past the desk...
I do not know but I will find out.
Mike did tell us that he just spent $180K on a brand new shower facility that is supposed to be far improved over the old one. I never used the old one, but several folks told me it was "less than ideal".
I will find out and post the info here.
Not sure I'm following the second sentence.
You pass the desk on your way to both entry/exit points.
Our goal is to have one choke point, so our operators can brief attendees and D-town's staff can make sure everyone has signed the waivers of liability, paid their fees, etc.
Oops-forgot to answer the second question.
The SSGR welcome desk will be on the dirt road, sort of between the red barn and our field, where the ingress point is for the vendor field.
Near one of the red arrows on the map that is posted in .pdf format.
We're closer than everyone realized-less than 90 days out I think.
I understand. Like I said, I was made aware of this last Thursday and ST and I immediately scheduled the time to go out there and get a handle on the changes as fast as possible.
The new area is within sight of the old-It's a...
Attention: Major changes for the GA Rally.
You need to read every word of this post. If you have a short attention span, go get some Ritalin and come back and read every word of this.
Last week I received an email from Mike McCommons, the owner and operator of Durhamtown. He...
A .020 overbore would require pistons. I wouldn't reuse pistons at much more than a mild hone job (.005+).
I think you need to do a leakdown test and see if the compression is escaping past the rings or valves.
What's the TM say one of these should have? They are low compression anyhoo, so...
