RE: Re: RE: lockout hubs all around...?
with hubs on both sides of the same axle, there is nothing to keep the spiders at or near zero rotation. there is a real danger of one shaft not turning and the other at double speed. two hubs is just a real bad idea with no gain at all.
do a google for 'parts unlimited 04-237' you will get quite a few hits where you can buy this shock. you will need to clamp the metel sleeve that is in the center of each bushing, between two metal plates and drill it out to the correct size. (you need to hold it from turning and the heat of...
just bounce on the seat, if the shock is ok it will not be just a spring action and it will not bottom out. most 30 year old shocks probably are weak.??
parts unlimited shock for the ski on snowmobiles is a perfect fit, but you have to clamp the inner sleeve of each end bushing in a fixture and enlarge the bolt hole very slightly. the part # is 04-237, on the shock is the brand name FORSA it is made in taiwan. i think this is for 2002 polaris...
RE: Re: RE: Wanted ...M35 Arctic Engine Heater Kit
i used to sell them on evilbay, had maybe 100 of them, went for around $140. only have one in stock now, mine. search for CP3050-24RBC this is made by benmar and is the newer item used for CUCVs everything else in the kit you can fab or don't...
right, a boost gauge is used, but it is used to set the fuel rate VERY conservatively, and you will only have the stock amount of power = very low. a pyro is much more valuable.
RE: Re: RE: Re: bypassing the FDC
a pyro made by vdo ( which is the dc amp type of powered meter) is available from summit racing for around $60, complete kit. add a resistor to use on 24 volt. i don't remember the value but i got mine at radio shack. let me know if you need the specs and i...
RE: Re: RE: Re: RE: horn button issues
it is just a straight shot up the steering column with a little tapered rubber plug at the bottom. the horn selenoid valve can be rewound for 12 volt, half as many turns of wire that has twice the area, usually 2 wire sizes different (larger) benn there...
with the failed ip, i could start it with starting fluid and it would run over 1000 rpm and drive but when you let it go below 1000 it would just shut off. stater could not crank it fast enough to trip the injectors. when running if you pulled the stop cable and released it it would go to a...
it's not gonna look that good. sorry but thats my opinion. you need to slice the front cab down just behind the rear door pillar and cut the doner cab just in front of the front door pillar and then split the donor cab so you can widen the front of it to match the width of the front cab. this...
i painted a m37 with a roller once, looked good from about 300 ft away...........it costs me about $1000 for primer and paint to do a m35, but i expect it to last for at least 80 years.
ron, you do realize there are 2 hoses, right?? other than the above mentioned there is a cover on the inside bottom of the center section on a 45 angle with 2 bolts, but it is wired and i doubt it would ever start leaking. just not much to leak. shutoff cover has a gasket and plenty of oil...
