The M715 is a nice military vehicle...very under-appreciated in my opinion. A little surprising that no one has responded to your thread. Had you posted about a bobbed deuce or a question about how much you should spend on a deuce at auction, you would have had many posts already.
Looking...
Do you want to sell the M36E3? I am not in the market, but there has to be someone who will trade you a nice truck and cash or buy it straight up. I saw that truck and watched it, but could not pull the trigger. A CAT with a manual transmission seems awful appealing to me. I suppose it will...
This depends upon your need. Are you trying to power a house? How much power do you need? All things being equal, I'd rather have too much power than too little.
I have a tan cover on my trailer. The trailer is one I am listing with four others for sale as a package in the classified list. If I sell the trailer, and the other buyer does not want a cargo cover (note that the cargo covers are not included in the original deal), I will sell the cover. It...
First, the transmission is a 4-speed, not a 3-speed. If your truck only has three speeds, that could explain why you find it unbearable on the road. Second, the electric wipers have two speeds...low and high. I have dealt with the air wipers on the A2s for many years and find them to be...
Gimp, get it! The bridge trucks are hard to come by. You should be able to get it fairly cheaply if it is a gasser (and because it is overwidth). Personally, I'd like to find an M812 or M945, but money is tight these days!
The brake issue sounds like an air-pack problem...at least that is where I would start. In terms of the turning radius, it is tough to tell without driving the truck, but I have never experienced anything like that, even in my LWB cargos. Those trucks have the same chassis, I believe, as your...
What about an A3 makes it interesting or unusual? There have been many trucks that have been sold. Thousands were made. I suppose that anyone could make the argument that any truck was "interesting" on some level to them. You are wrong on the link issue. While there are exceptions, I can...
Let me add that I love the A2s. I just have never heard from anyone who owned an A3 anything but positive remarks about the truck. I have spoken to guys who have, or have had, A2s and A3s and they have told me the same thing I am saying here...the A3 is a nicer truck to operate. Which one...
I started it for ARMYMAN30YEARSPLUS's funeral when it was zero degrees. It took a sniff of ether, but it started just fine. Anyone who own one have any negative feedback?
My suggestion would be to delete this post as anyone with half a brain now knows there is an M35A3 in CA. You are new to the site so you might not know, but we are prohibited from discussing current or upcoming auctions.
If you want honest info about an A3, start a thread asking current A3...
The thing I can't understand is why they would get pulled after GL got them. They already went through the whole screening process. All the various military, federal, state, local, etc. entities had their shot at them. After they cleared the DRMO screening time period, they were transferred...
Buy them directly from a big truck supply house. They are the same as you see on over-the-road trucks. I have done just that on an M817 that I used to own. Good luck.
It is a really nice unit. You can pay $300 as it sits without a power cord, or you could have bought one from TACTICALTRUCK for $250 WITH the power cord. Brand new either way. They work well. We had one cooling the back of a deuce at Aberdeen! No one wanted to leave the back of the truck!
