Did you use transit tags? How much were they?

    DANGER towing 2 105s in-line DANGER

No trailer (or truck for that matter) is worth risking life and limb. The M105 is not designed to be towed in series. That is why there is no pintle hitch in the rear. Even the M332 ammo trailers that have pintle hitches are not designed to be towed faster than 15 MPH in tandem. The beds you...

    New to the Deuce/5-Ton

I agree with AH...start with a deuce. They are fairly cheap and are a lot of fun.

    sustained top speed

I am with MADDAWG on this. Contrary to what most people say and think, a deuce is a 50 mph truck +/- 2 MPH. Yeah, guys like to push their trucks...but to what end? So, they end up getting somewhere about 10 minutes quicker than they would have (over the span of driving an hour or more)...

What do you do with an M332?

I have two mint M332s in a garage. I basically visit them a couple times a month. I probably should sell one, but I am too lazy to advertise it and really would rather just enjoy looking at them than get a few hundred bucks.

    Ural 375 winch

I was just going to make a joke about them being available about 350 KM south of Moscow, but I see now that is the truth. I love the URALs. My wife is Russian so I have an affinity for all things Russian. Anyway, I have resisted buying an Ural because of parts availability. Good luck in your...

    Towing deuce backwards?

In order to hook up to the rear lifting shackle mounting points, you'd have to remove the bumperettes. That, in and of itself, would take you a bit of time. I do not think the towbar will hook up without removing these. I suppose they could be torched off if the truck is a parts truck. That...

crane truck in flood for sale

It is a multifuel 5 ton. I seem to think it was an M543A2.

    Towing deuce backwards?

Training won't do it. The military wreckers were NOT designed to tow this way and they don't have the same equipment to hook up to a truck that civvy wreckers do.

    Towing deuce backwards?

The biggest issue is whether your wrecker is tagged for such an operation and whether you have the appropriate license to do so. Also, check with your insurer to make sure you are insured to tow a vehicle with your wrecker. I would pay someone to move it. It does not sound like you need to...

    Pics? of singled 5 tons...

James, I am not sure they are as nice as your collection...but I will add that I am happy with the trucks I own. Thanks for the compliments, guys!

    M35a3

I am selling my M35A3 for $11,850. That is what I have in it. Come one, come all. The truck is very nice, but has some surface rust on the driver's bed side and a bit around the rivets on the hood. The paint is faded, but mainly solid. The tires are nice. Fiberglass troop seats. No cargo...

    super single wheels and tires

James is correct...1400s are too big for a deuce.

    Pics? of singled 5 tons...

Daniel, you just know I've got several. I'll post them tomorrow...multiple M925A2s, M936A2, M929A1, M928A1, singled USMC M817, multiple USMC M813a1s, etc. I'll send pics. Those HEMTT rims will not work on a deuce without serious mods. Even on a 5 ton, they are stretching it. They will work...

    HMMWV windshield help

Dave, I meant to tell you that I love your AVATAR. I assume that is Theresa, the lady I met this past Saturday. Very nice lady. Good luck with your work. By the way, I found about twenty of the bolts that hold the doors to the body tub. I will send those along shortly...free of charge. PM...

    JC Taylor Insurance Problems

I agree with Chuck...remove the shelter before you take the pic. Has anyone heard from JC Taylor that the will not insure tractors? I've had tractors insured by them, but it was years ago. I was recently told they really only want to insure what they call "troop carriers." I have an M817...

    WTB-winch chains/hooks

MR...No problem. As far as I am concerned, once one guy jumps in to post I would not jump in unless I had something different, which was the case here (new vs. used, but yours is a much better deal...and I don't expect anyone to buy mine when yours is less than half the price!). You responded...
