I would send a PM and hope he had it linked to his E-mail and hope he still uses that E-mail.
There is an old thread about how to do something like this by opening up and gutting the military flasher unit and soldering in a civvy unit in order to keep your rig looking OEM.
Either way, nice work!
Clueless new owner or not, I won't forget his video about the LED light switch anytime soon.
I appreciate his posting this video, but the video was strange.
Who videos his rig burning? I for one might have concentrated less on camera work and more upon getting a fire extinguisher from my...
Watching that thing go up in smoke was humbling.
My spare LED control box or whatever it is called will go on the auction site this weekend.
Great video!
Thanks!

I recall a post regarding how to advance the timing and I recall it saying that after a while these systems get so sloppy that there is no exact science.
If you let this sit without plugs, I hope you blocked the holes with painter’s tape. Dust or water gets in and you will have a problem. Stuff like this should never just sit open and should probably be finished at the same time as old part removal.

Hey Cam.... Did your tires explode before or after you made it to the liquor store on your beer run? Just wondering if your tires were ok BUT you pulled a "Harvey Wallbanger". (LOL) ;)
Old rubber is not predictable. Tire pressure also figures into that... Just ask FoMoCo after their SUV's...
Goodyear posted and even GovPlanet comments upon tire cracking and risk of failure.
Only one way to assure tire quality. Buy 'em new.
No amount of hand holding and guessing by forum members will be able to predict your future with those tires.
I don't understand...
Are you complaining that you don't have a problem with overheating?
In the Winter you want a minimum temperature, but I've never heard anyone complain that their engine and radiator worked so well that they are worried.
If your minimum temperature is OK, that means your...
The bead on these rims is at an angle and is short and without a bead lock you run the risk of the tire disengaging from the bead/rim.
I am told that because of the short area of engagement at the bead on the 16.5 inch rims, it would be a real risk to run 17 inch tires and it is not recommended.
Those things sell for a few bucks on eBay. I seem to recall around 40 or $50 for the pair. You guys might all want to consider selling those pieces. It’s a tight economy and every little dollar helps.
Stay healthy guys.
